Summary: Excellent Book
Review: Everyone's favorite princess is back with more diary entries about her life. I LOVED this book so much, and I am so upset that I finished it so quickly. This time Mia has a secret admirer, her mom and algebra teacher(Mr. G) are getting married, and she finds out she's going to be a big sister. This was an excellent book and I can't wait for the next one(Princess In Love) to come out, or to see the movie.

This is an excellent book, if you liked The Princess Diaries you will love the second one in the series.

Summary: GREAT!!
Review: You usually think that sequels to books suck (with the exception of harry potter of course). This book proved that wrong. Meg Cabot obviously doesn't get lazy on the job. There was not one boring part of this book. it curioisly kept me hanging on every word. girls whether 9-90 should read this book because it has all sorts of characters that you can relate to.

Summary: The Best Sequel to the Best Book!!
Review: I bought The Princess Diaries not knowing if it was a good book at all. I really love The Princess Diaries because of the way Meg Cabot made Mia so realistic. When I heard there was a continuation of the first book, I knew I had to buy it. This book is even better than the first. Anyone who liked the first book, should definitely read the second book!!

Summary: Incredible!
Review: I loved this book!!! I love it soo much!! I was up all night reading it because it was so good...I got mad at myself though for reading it so quickly because the next one doesn't come out until a year from now!! Anyway, Mia gets even more tangled up because she finds out that she'll be on 24/7 with more than 22 million viewers. She also has a secret admirer who thinks she's the "Josiest girl" referring to Josie and the Pussycats. Read it to find out what happens next to Mia!! This is definitely the best so far!

Summary: Keeping With The Fun
Review: Though this sequal lacks in comparison to the original PRINCESS DIARIES, it is still a good read. It is filled with new pop culture humor. No one can get enough of Mia, and if you read THE PRINCESS DIARIES, you know what I mean.

Summary: Fresh and Funny
Review: As a library science student, I am always on the lookout for interesting material that I might be able to use when I get my degree. I was really pleased with this book, as well as the first one about Mia. It's amazing and perfectly captures the lead character's angst while remaining absolutely hilarous. My favorite part has got to be when Martha Stewart helps Mia with her outfit. Read this book!

Summary: adorable
Review: All the princess diaries re really great. The only thing i dont like is that they are short, like all of them are around 220 pages. They are also all a span of 2 or 3 months, which makes me think that she wrote this as like a 1000 page book but the publisher just broke it into all these books that are exactly 220 page.

Review: PRINCESS IN THE SPOTLIGHT
THE PRINCESS DIARIES, VOLUME II

By Meg Cabot

Princess in the Spotlight is about a girl named Mia. Who has just found out that she is the princess of a small European country called Genovia. In this book she runs into a many problems. For instance, her mother is getting married to her algebra teacher and having his baby, her grandmere is planning a fancy wedding for them that they do not want , reporters are always following Mia around and taking pictures of her and Mia has a secret admirer ,but she cannot find out who he is. She hopes that he is her best friend's brother, Michael.
The main characters in this book are Princess Mia, her dad Philipe, her grandmere, who is queen of Genovia, Mia's mother and step father to be,and her best friend Lily and all of the people that come along with her.
My favorite person in this book is Mia's cousin Hank. He comes to visit Mia from a farm in Indiana because her mom is about to married. When Hank shows up he is wearing farmer clothes but by the end of the book, he is a New York underwear model and is wearing all of these fancy clothes that Mia could not ever imagine him wearing. Mia is happy for him because he has finally made his dream.
I liked this book alot because it has many cliff hangers. So all I wanted to do was read this book. My favorite part in this book is when Mia finds out who her secret admirer is. She is very surprised as to who it is. She would have never guessed that it was this person. My least favorite part in this book is when her grandmere is planning the huge wedding for Mia's mom and will not listen to Mia when she tells her that her mom does not want a big wedding.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes being on cliff hangers for the whole book. It would be best for preteen or teenage girls.

Summary: Book two...
Review: The plot of this book was pretty dry. Just when you think it's getting interesting, it gets a bit dull again. I would only recommend this book if you want to read the others in the series and be able to understand them.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A fun, light read
Review: This book was cute but incredibly unrealistic. I mean, a princess? One that appears on TV and everything?

*SPOILER ALERT*
The secret admirer thing was cute, but it totally couldn't have been Michael. I'm suprised that Mia didn't figure that earlier either. It kind of disappointed me a little bit at the end because Mia hooked up with Kenny. He's seems sweet, but she doesn't like him! The whole thing with Hank and Lilly, and he being an aspiring model was not necessary, in my opinion. I suppose it might have been some light-hearted humor or something. It also kind of pissed me off how, IN THE END, Michael complimented Mia, you know, after she said 'yes' to Kenny. God, what's wrong with boys...some are too shy and some are too arrogant.

Overall, 'Princess in the Spotlight' is a quick, easy read if you're looking for and entertaining, enjoyable book.
