Review: For students who do not wish to take the SAT, or students who believe they can perform better on a different type of test, the ACT is the best choice.

But Kaplan ACT fails in preparing students for the ACT.

The book is organized in four parts, with each part focusing on one area of the exam: English, Math, Reading and Science.

The advice the book offers, however, is so superficial that only a true beginner would benefit. If you wish to take the ACT and want to prepare, there are better alternatives--try ACT for Dummies, good book, despite the patronizing title.
