Summary: A Classic Tale of Good and Evil with a Twist
Review: The book is good reading and the plot is action-packed with characters that are well developed and imaginative. Of the main characters Sunflash the Mace, my favorite, is a powerful leader of good. Swartt Sixclaw is the vengeful force of evil in the story, and his son Veil Sixclaw is the outcast referred to in the title. Veil, who was abandoned as an infant, has been raised at Redwall Abbey by the kind mouse maid Bryony. Veil is a combination of good and evil and is a mystery throughout the story. His wicked behavior causes him to be thrown out of Redwall. As a result, Veil struggles with his emotions and the difficult choices he must ultimately make. In the end, Veil surprises the reader with his uncommon act of heroism. The author, Brian Jaques, grabs the reader's interest by including in the story the elements of war, love, violence, evil and friendship. I really liked this book and think that it should be read by anyone who enjoys action stories and just plain good reading.

Summary: An unusually titled, excellent book
Review: "In legend could truth be told, Of a warlord's son, a ferret bold, With blood-red paws, he was cast out, But left a shadow of doubt..." Outcast, as my friends and I call this book, this is a work of unrealistic greatness. As in all of Brian Jacques books, they all have a wide span of characters. Starring Sunflash the mace, an incredibly strong badger who is searching for his destiny, Swartt Sixclaw, an evil warlord, and Veil, the outcast. This is one of the many books in the Redwall series by Jacques, such as: Pearls of Lutra, Salamandastron, and The Bellmaker. The story begins with Sunflash, being trapped and beaten by the unmerciful Swartt Sixclaw and his crew. A soon to be friend helps Sunflash escape. Before they leave, Sunflash breaks off a piece of tree and mangles Swartt's paw which Swartt vows revenge on. Along the way, each party encounters many adventures including Veil, Swartt's son. Will Veil every meet his father? Will Sunflash ever find his destiny? How many feasts are in this book? You'll need to read Outcast of Redwall to find the answers. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Summary: Good book
Review: I didn't like this book as much as Redwall, or Mossflower. Although it is an adventure book, it didn't have enough action, and had too much emotion. This book had a weak plot, because it's the same plot as most books. The main character always saves someone, or finds what they're looking for.
Swarrt Sixclaw, a warlord with a massive army, ridicules a badger that he captured long ago. This badger is tortured every day. A bird is separated from his family, migrating south. This hawk, named Skarlath, traveled north. The winds and snow cause him to crash into a tree, unconscious. Swarrt sends his army to forage for food, and they find an unconscious hawk, frozen to a tree. Sixclaw then ties the badger to the same tree, so they can be tortured together. Skarlath regains his consciousness, and sees a large, baby badger hanging by his paws on a branch.
The badger takes his body, and wraps himself around the hawk. The ice melts, and the kestrel is freed. He then uses his beak to cut the bonds holding the large badger, and takes out his gag. They both run away. The badger grabs a large log, and runs back to the vermin's camp. He destroys everything, and kills many, in revenge for years of captivity and ridicule.
That was just the first battle, will Swarrt take revenge? What is this mighty badger's name? Read the rest of this book to find out.

Summary: Book 8 rocks
Review: A excellent story about good versus evil. A theme that looks can be decieving. Just because some and looks and acts bad doe not mean there is evil inside of him.

Sun Flash the Mace the Badger has sworn to slay the Evil Swart six claw. To protect Salmastron and Mossflower from the Evil Swart six claw.

It called out cast of Redwall because Swart the Fert has a soon who he abadoms on the battle field. He is addopted by the Redwaller. He is hate by must the people he is seen as evil does many bad thing. The only person who respect him is the Grand daugther of Gonf. Yes Gonf from Mossflower and Legend of Luke.

Year go bye Swart is now and Adult so is sun Flash and he is big and he is a big buff badger. I mean it when Jacques wrote this series he decide to Make the young and middle age badger adnormal strong.

Viel at the end of book two is exiled from Redwall from posioning one of the creatures living in the abbey. He goes and is filled with angry and rage.

Summary: The Outcast Of Redwall By:Brian Jacques
Review: "Eeulaliaaaaaa!"
The camp came to life instantly. Two vermin fell under the club as the badger threw himself at Swartt. Before the ferret had half drawn his sword, the badger's club thudded hard against his foe's six-clawed paw. Swartt screeched and fell back injured, yelling to his creatures, "Stop him! Kill him!"

This is just one of the many action-packed scenes from The Outcast of Redwall. The author, Brian Jacques, puts up a compelling performance in this novel. It is an epic story with a great mix of action, adventure, and drama. It is a long book, over 300 pages, but is worth the time and effort to read it.
There are many characters in The Outcast of Redwall, but I'm going to limit them to just the main characters. First, there is Swarrt Sixclaw. He is very cruel and ruthless. He commands a large army. Then there is Veil, who is also pretty cruel, but not as ruthless. He gets kicked out of Redwall. There is also Sunflash, who is a Badgerlord. He is Swartt's archenemy. He is the protagonist. Finally, there is Skarlath. He is Sunflash's best friend. Skarlath is usually the wiser between himself and Sunflash. He is also usually a lookout: as he is a kestrel (a bird of prey).
Basically, the story is about a Badger Lord named Sunflash and a ferret warlord named Swartt. Swartt and Sunflash are archenemies. Later on in the story Swartt has a son named Veil, who gets taken in by the creatures of Redwall Abby (a great abby made of red sandstone). He commits a terrible crime and gets cast out (hence the title The Outcast of Redwall). Swartt, Veil, and Sunflash end up meeting, and one final battle takes place. But... you'll have to read the rest to find out!
In the end you learn that there is good in everyone, and that it doesn't matter what someone acts like or looks like because they still can be good at times. Also, it doesn't matter whether you are the son/daughter to a dishonest, deceitful, or a cruel person; you can still be a courteous, kind, and a friendly person.

Summary: Outcast of Redwall
Review: Veil, a ferret in Brian Jacques's book Outcast of Redwall, is raised in Redwall. Son of a warlord and a vermin, he doesn't listen to the advice of his elders and caretakers but leads a life full of mischief. When he is thrown out of the abbey, Bryony, his adopted mother/friend/advisor, goes after him. She still believes there is still some good in him. Is there?
Sunflash and Skarlath had been friends since they were very young. They were true friends, warning each other of danger and helping each other in times of need. Would it always be like that?
This book is a great book about having faith in others and being a good friend. I like it because it is one of the typical Redwall books with badgers, otters, squirrels, mice, and hares, but it's different than all the rest because in not one of the other ones has a vermin, in this case a ferret, been raised in Redwall. I like that uniqueness about this book. I also like how it shows that even if someone has been bad all their life, they can still do good things.

Summary: One of the greatest pieces of literature of our time
Review: The story begins during a harsh winter with a scene of a ferret and his band of vermin cruelly treating a young captive badger. The badger finds a young kestrel (bird) and keeps him warm during the night. The kestrel then bites through the badgers bonds. The badger grabs a tree limb and goes beserk, injuring the ferret and killing many of his group. The badger and bird escape. The story afterwards tells of the great friendship between them and their conflicts with the evil ferret Swartt. The badger rises to become Sunflash of the Mace and rules a mountain stronghold inhabited by fighting hares. The kestrel Skarlath is Sunflash's eyes and ears, seeking news of Swartt. Swartt gathers a large army and wages war with the badgerlord. Meanwhile a lost baby son of Swartt is found and taken to Redwall abbey. A peaceful dwelling of woodland creatures. The ferret babe is named Veil. Despite much effort to make Veil a good creature he commits an unforgivable crime and is declared an outcast from redwall. In the battle of Swartt and Sunflash, the badger's forces are victorious yet Swartt escapes. But Skarlath is slain. In grief and rage Sunflash pursues Swartt's small remaining group. Overcome with hate he is captured by Swartt. Veil finds his father and has to decide whether to let him kill the badgerlord or to defy him and save the life of one whom he has never known. Veil dies saving Sunflash who the escapes and crushes Swartt in a bear-like grip and hurtles him over a cliff. Overall it is a story of friendship, loyalty, and the triumph of good over evil.

Summary: The Outcast of Rewall by Brian Jacques
Review: The Outcast Redwall is a well-written novel. Full of suspense and sorrows, the reader will not want to put this book down. This is a medium-paced tale that reads smoothly it is not confusing. This is a tale of revenge for a mishap.
This novel is plot driven novel. Told in two points of view you understand how well and evil perceive the world. One character, Sunflash, tries to protect the innocent, while the other, Swartt, tries to prove to everyone he is the leader.
The two heroes are Sunflash and Skarlath. Sunflash is an orphan badger who goes into a "Blind Rage" when an injustice is served to the innocent. He is clearly defined as a hero because the reader can understand that he is facing big problems. Skarlath is a young, wise kestrel with a peaceful appearance, yet at times he can be extremely cunning. He is a deep thinker and he fears for Sunflash. Skarlath is a confusing and poorly developed character since he disappears frequently. Swartt is the villain and he thinks he should rule all. Swartt is clearly defined and he explains what he wants to do. I believe that he was not brought up correctly during his youth
