Summary: Very interesting, entertaining story
Review: This Lullaby is an interesting story with quirky characters. It follows the life of Remy, an about-to-move-on-to-college teenager who dumps her boyfriends as often as she cleans her room (a lot). Since her mother is currently getting married to her seventh (is that right?) husband, Remy does not believe in love. Then along comes Dexter, the quirky musician who falls for her the moment he sees her across a room. Remy can't stand him- at first. This novel is about Remy coming to grips with love. This novel has some very true philosophies about love, and is definitely worth reading.

Summary: Made me want to date a rock star..
Review: This Lullaby made me fall in love with an imaginary charcter. I was in love with Dexter. I loved how he respected Remy and all of her annoying beliefs and helped her in more ways then possible. I could only wish I could find a guy like him. This Lullaby was a terrfic book and proboley one of the best I have ever read.

Summary: This Lulluby: A Romance Novel
Review: This Lullaby was an exceptionally good book. It is of a girl named Remy who is spending her last summer at home before going off to college. She breaks up with her current boyfriend early on so she can have fun summer flings. But this all changes when she meets Dexter, a player in a band. He won't give up on asking her out and this in turns results in the love between Remy and Dexter, something very unexpected and unplanned by Remy. Meanwhile, Remy's mother is marrying her fifth husband, and her brother gets engaged. This all adds to the drama of This Lullably. This Lullaby refers to a song Remy's father wrote on the day of her birth, but because he left her mom and her, the song can sometimes be upsetting. I really enjoyed this book because readers can easily relate to the love between Remy and Dexter, and the book keeps readers guessing whether or not they will end up together and what will happen when Remy goes off to college or Dexter's band gets a deal. You will love this book, so make sure you read it!

Summary: This Lullaby: A Lyracally written and Great Story
Review: This Lullaby was an overall excellent book. It was written lyracally and beautifully, using descriptive language and interesting word choice. I read it because Sarah Dessen has such smooth, round writing, while covering tough or strange topics. Nevertheless, the writing fits together wonderfully, and this book was a great example to that.
This book was about a soon-to-be college student who can't wait to get out of her small, boring town. With her mother's fifth marrige on her hands and her cynical view on love, life can be tough for Remy. She has compleatly given up on love, seeing how her mother has turned out, and just knows when to break up with a guy. Then everything changes when she meets a musician named Dexter. He is exactly what she hates about some guys. He's messy, a musician, poor, but then she decides that maybe he isn't so bad after all.....

Summary: Is it really love?
Review: This Lullaby, a book about a girl who doesn't believe in love, was a book that I picked up without knowing anything about it beyond the description on the inside cover. When I read it, I found a good author and a great book.
The story kept me interested, the plot flowed well, and the descriptions seemed so vivid that it felt as if I was right there with the characters, experiencing the action with them. The characters were well developed, and very believable, making you believe that it was really happening, not just a made up story. The book had me hooked right from the beginning, making me devour every word eagerly, wanting to find out what would happen next. It also hooked me on the author, who seemed to really understand what a teenager would be going through.
The plot of the book may seem at first like a story that's been told so many times that you know every detail already, but it is told in such a way that by the end you'd hardly recognize that idea you had in your mind of what would happen. The story is told so well that it's hard to believe that the book is really fiction, because the characters are so well developed, and so real. They make you feel like you're listening to a friend talk about her life, not reading a work of fiction.
All in all, the book was a very great read.

Summary: Remy and Dexter!!!
Review: This was a very funny, well written, and interesting book. It gave us this girl, Remy, and her heart that is as cold as an ice cub. The author, Dessen, makes this charcter so beilevable that I can't get enough of her situation.

She has this father, a musican, and she makes a rule never to date musicans because to let you down. Then she breaks this rule by getting involved with Dexter. He is lanky, a musican, and cute and Remy can't seem to stay away even though she knows what he will do to her heart, or won't. Overtime Dexter and Remy get close. She starts to even, mabye, love him. It takes a annoying break-up which leads to an even worse friendship to realize a love that was ment to be. Personally, I think she realizes this outside the Quick Zip watching John Miller, Dexter's friend, and her ex, Dexter, to make a complete foul of themselves while they are drunk. Halarious!!! Good man!

Anyway, I really loved this book. High praises to Sarah Dessen for this auesome book. I loved the realistic charcters and the deepness of this situation Remy gets herself into!! Love this book, please read it!!!
