Summary: Just Like The Piolet, It's Charmed!!
Review: This story, being the first in a set, was just like the show's piolet (first episode aired). This is the book that started it all as was the piolet that started all the magic and excitement that sweeped the nation October 7, 1998. This story starts with Piper auditioning for the place of a cook at Quake. Farther into the story, Piper, Prue, and Phoebe find out they are witches. Piper found out that Jeremey, her current boyfriend, is a warlock who is out to get them. If you need a story like this that will make you laugh and make you entertained, this is the book with you.

Summary: My fav show, a book!
Review: This was the first Charmed book that I read & I thought it was as good as the actual episode, but it wasn't excellent.
What happens is Phoebe comes home without Prue having the slightest idea. Piper had known for weeks but never told Prue. When she comes home there is a blackout & the girls find a board that spells out letters to form a word magically. Phoebe sees it & copies it down & it spells 'ATTIC' During the night, Phoebe goes into the attic to see what was so special about it. She finds it is locked. She walks away but all of a sudden it opens! Phoebe walks into the attic & sees a chest & opens it. She finds a big, fat book. The 'Book Of Shadows' She reads the chant in the book & the next day everything changes.

Piper is trying out for a chef at a restaurant & when the head chef comes Piper is like 'No I just got to put something else on'. She throws her hands up & the man freezes. Piper didnt know what happened so she added the seasoning and he suddenly unfroze. She got the job!

As for Prue, she can't believe it & Phoebe is trying everything. When Prue & Phoebe go to the chemist, Phoebe makes Prue very angry by talking about their dad & Prue gets so angry that a whole shelf of pills fall onto the ground! Prue finally believes her.

Piper finds a date, Jeremy. Not knowing he is actually a demon he tries to kill her in an elevator. She freezes him & finds a way out but when she gets home she realises he has followed her. The 3 Halliwells run upstairs & as they are in their circle Jeremy lights a fire around them and they need to say the chant to vanquish him.

A must read book. One of my favourites!

Summary: Truly a Bewitching choice
Review: Those of us who were saddened by Shannen Doherty's television departure from 90210 were really thrilled when she returned to the small screen in this series.

The three sisters (Doherty is the eldest) have reccently discovered they hail from a long line of witches and must use their power to protect innocents.Although I was genuinely skeptical of the female/witch emphasis (which has been done so many times) the empowered-female-centric plots have since grown on me.

The authors do a wonderful job of keeping to the original screenplays and character quirks. Like any good TV/Movie novelization, it also explands on the show by bringing in thoughts that were not present to the viewing audience. The result is a TV tie in that belongs in every true Charmed fan's library.

Summary: Sisters Rule!
Review: Three girls return to San Francisco to live in their grandmother's old house, a beautiful Victorian, where they grew up. Phoebe, the youngest Halliwell sister, goes up to the attic after their spirit board (commonly known as a Ouija board) indicated to go there. She finds a magical book entitled "The Book of Shadows" and reads off an incantation that will summon their powers. They have become "The Charmed Ones" the most powerful of witches. Their first test is to stop a warlock from stealing their powers, which they have no idea.

Summary: Finally, some Recognition for the Charmed Ones!
Review: To anyone who doesn't already know, Charmed is the best TV show ever made, so, it sort of goes with reason that Charmed, the book, is also Awesome. There is one thing about this book though... A few of the quotes, that are supposed to be the same as the tv show have been changed, to make the book more appropreat for younger children. But, the book is still really really good. If you don't have it, buy it. If you've never seen the show Charmed, Watch it!
