Summary: Wonderful Book
Review: I was happy to see that this book had a female lead character! I love all of the Redwall books, but this one is one of my favorites! It has a wonderful plot and intresting, life-like characters. It is a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. If you like fantasy books, this is the book for you.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This book is a must Read!!!!!!
Review: This book has it all: action, adventure, triumph, and (finally) a girl heroine.Mariel is among the bravest warrior mice, besides Martin the Warrior. I checked this book out of the library, wary, because I had heard that it was not the best of his books. I have to contradict that!!!! The whole thing about Mariel setting out to find and kill Gabool live up to half of the book. An avid Redwall fan, I thouroughly enjoyed this book, especially the Long Patrol Hares and their cheerful attitude towards everything, especially those mouthwatering Redwall feasts!!! A must read for all Redwall fans, and if your not, this book will make you one!!!!

Summary: Why Mice???
Review: This book wasn't worth all the hype given from all the other onliners. The main character was a female mouse, a total grade school type of theme. If the characters werent' mice, I would have gave this book 4 stars. I mean, who can relate to and understand a pack of mice without the author's help?

Summary: Mariel of Redwall
Review: As a reader of Brian Jacques' books in the Redwall series, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite books he has written. Mariel has such a fighting spirit, and Dandin is so loyal. I think it's a wonderful story and a must read for anyone who likes Brian Jacques' books or even just fantasy books.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I really liked this book because the mouse, Mariel was such a sweet gal and who was such a wonderful hero letting nothing get in her way. It is a really good model that many kids would probably want to take after, and the book was beautifully woven into such a suspensful story that I could not put it down for a second! I think that if you like fantansy, then this book is just the book for you!

Summary: Mariel of Redwall is the best
Review: Mariel was very cool with her Gullwhacker and all that. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the fact that the chapters didn't leave you wanting more as much as other books. They kind of stop, and you wonder how certain situations will turn out, but not that /have/ to turn and look kinda thing. All in all, a very good book.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever picked up.
Review: I have read this book countless times and I always enjoy it every bit as much as if I don't know what is going to happen, even though by now I could recite the entire story. Incredible characters, with wonderful personalities, from Mariel to Gabool to Hon Rosie. I believe that the one and only reason why I continue to read this book is that is continues to suprise me by the detail and depth with which it was written. Even I, at 12, can recognize and honor this.
