Review: This story is about a mouse named Mariel. Escaping from the wild rat king, but nearly drowned in doing so. She loses her memory from almost drowning. She ends up in Redwall gaining friends and getting her memory back. Finding help from her new friends she journeys to defeat he rat king. the book is really good and has alot of detail without being to wordy. There is a lot of action fighting battles, and wild beasts. It has a plot that keeps you hanging not knowing what will happen next. It was hard fo me to put down, I wanted to know what would happen next. For these reasonsI think the book is really good. I recommend this book for anybody to read.

Review: This exquisite novel, Mariel of Redwall, was simply phenomenal. This book had wonderful who were very memorable. The plot was intricately done and fit excellently with the characters. The author, Brian Jacques, has once again amazed us with another rousing novel of Redwall. In one word to describeit, this book is fantastic.

Review: I have read most of the Redwall books and loved them all. But, this was probably the worst. It was fairly boring and a little bit too repetitive. It lacked action compared to the others, but it still is worth reading.

Review: The whole Redwall series is amazing, and wonderful. Personaly, this book is the best to me. From Martin the Warrior, to Mariel and Dandin, each book gives a great story. I can't put any of the books that I've read down. The books make you seem like your there. it's really cool. Brian Jacques tells stories of truth, freindship, and lessons in life. But, he does it in a way to make you smile or lausgh, and in some books like Maritn the Warrior, even make you cry. I have read all the boks in this series so far from Redwall to Marlfox, and want to read The Legend of Luke soon. anyway, this is a GREAT BOOK! I hope you like them as I have.

Review: I highly reccomend this book to anyone who liked the other three books. This is another one of those "can't put down until finished" kind of books. When I first heard of the seires I thought, "oh, another one of those animal book things." I was wrong. All of the books are amazing. Now all my friends are reading them. I am currently on the 5th book, Salamandastron. All of these books are awesome. Read 'em!

Summary: Another Great One, Mr. Jaques!
Review: I LOVED this book! It is wonderful! I loved the fact that the heroine was a girl for once, and that it takes the reader far off the beaten track and away from Redwall towards the sea. I would love for Mr. Jaques to put more puzzles in his stories though, like in Redwall.

Review: Gabool the Wild, the searat king who never really roamed the seas, captures the ship Periwinkle. On it Joseph the Bellmaker and her daughter, Mariel, along with the great bell meant to be brought to Salamandastron. They became slaves of Gabool, and one day Mariel betrayed him, and found herself flung onto the seas, and luckily enough, survives. After gaining her memory, she sets off with Durry Quill, Danding, and Tarquin to find Terramort Isle of Gabool, and do they run into a bit of trouble! Back at Terremort, Gabools messmate Graypatch betrayed him and sets off with his own fleet to roam the seas. Gabool sends of a wild chase of fleets to find and kill Graypatch, while ships battle, betray and bombard each other, Graypatch finds land and finds Redwall!

Summary: It was one of the best books I ever read!
Review: I love the description,action and wars, though I am a girl I still loved the book, I have also read the other following Redwall books, Mossflower, Redwall and Mattimeo. They all wre also great books. I can't wait to get the 4th boo though I'm not sure what it is. I love the way he always ends the books with the writing of the recorder and what happened over the next few years all in a few pages. I found out about the books from my tag summer reading list and I tried the first one, ever since Ive been reading them I hope the next 6 I have to read are just as good! I wish somday that I will write storys that good!

Review: I love this book because it shows that girls can be heros too. I've read all the Redwall books, and even though there are many stand-out females in them, never is there a warriormaid. Even though I love all the Rewall books, this is deffinately one of my favorites!

Review: A magnificent book, just like any of the other Redwall books.In fact I've read five of them:Mossflower,Redwall,Martin the Warrior,Mattimeo,& Mariel of Redwall. Each one just as good(or better)then the last. I'd give every one of them five stars, and I'd recomend them to anyone who likes animals and science -fiction.
