Summary: Life on the high seas at its best!
Review: If you are a person who loves adventure, action, war, and Mutiny this is the book for you! The tale is about a young Mouse named Mariel who is on a quest to find her father, "Joseph the Bellmaker", and slay the evil searat warlord Gabool. During her adventure she encounters many vermin enemies. One of those encounters was when she was taken prisoner by one of Gabools searat captains on his best ship. Mariel although a small mouse is very quick and strong. She uses a rope with a huge knot at the end(called the Gullwhacker) as a war clud, and frees herself with it from a band of vermin scum. Mariel is one mouse you don't want to mess with!

Summary: Seafaring Adventure Which adds much to the Series
Review: In "Mariel of Redwall" a crazy, insomnia suffering warlord named Gabool the Wild throws Mariel into the water. She washes up on the shore and goes to Redwall. She and some friends go off to fight Gabool. There are lots of characters (again). There are two awesome characters as well: Cockleburr and Tarquin. Any fan of the series should read this one. There are plenty of fights and feasts and many nuances in the plot. Also, the great Dibbun twins Bagg and Runn and their good friend Grubb make their first appearence. If you are reading something now, Mariel is a nice book to read when you finish!

Summary: Brian Jacques reader
Review: Another master piece by Brian Jacques. Probably the most gory book of all the series, it still has room for action, mystery, adventure, peoms and more!

Summary: MARIEL OF REDWALL
Review: i am a 12 year old girl, and i have never read a book so adventureous!! this book is so nerve racking and exciting!Mariel of Redwall is so discriptive and very gorey(thats why i luv it.) Go with mariel, dandin, and their friends to save mariel's father from the dreaded searat GABOOL, and find out how they do this difficult journey across the large thrashing sea to reach the steep and rugged shoreline of the island where searats, corsairs, frightning ferrets, scarry stoats, and other "foebeasts" guard their wrathful leader,GABOOL,and its all up to mariel to save her father...how will she do it?i know the answer, but you have to find it out yourself.

Summary: Okay, but not that good.
Review: This book is okay, but not as good as the others. The beginning is very boring. I don't like Gabool. He gets very crazy and boring. The first parts were boring but the ending battle is much better. I have read all of the books out so far and this one is my least favorite out of them. The Bellmker is good for a sequel. I don't like seafaring books much. The only seafaring book I do like is Pearls of Lutra. All in all this book is not one of the best.

Summary: A sea faring smash
Review: If you don't like complicated battles, mysterious poems, and small creatures, DON'T read this book! It's full of them1 Mariel of Redwall is about a young mouse maid(Mariel) who is shipwrecked with her father on the island of the horrible fort housing Gabool the Wild, King of Searats. But she is washed away again to the shores of Redwall Abbey. There Mariel is taken into care for she has no memory of the past. Then she remembers everything and makes an oath to find her father and slay Gabool. Mariel sets out-accompinied by her friends from the Abbey- on a journey that teaches her wit, skill, love and courage. At some parts in the book you're at home in the Abbey and in others your leading a great war. It fills you with relaxation and excitement, love and anger. There are funny parts and intense imagery. This book is full of life!

They free the slaves and plan attack on Gabool and his men. They attacked Gabool and won. they lived happily ever after. I liked the book because they defeated Gabool. Summary: Another Great Book in the Redwall Series
Review: Mariel, separated from her father after being thrown off Periwinkle, a ship, is left with a knotted rope and no sense of herself. Gabool, a wicked searat, terrorizer of the seas, was the one who did this, and thought her to be dead. The book shifts back and forth from different scenes, like Gabool in his castle on Terramort, to Salamandstron and the badger lord Rawnblade, the places of Gabool's several ships, and Redwall Abbey. This book is full of great adventure and excitement and will be a joy for whoever reads it.
