Summary: THE BEST LITTLE GIRL IN THE WORLD WAS.......
Review: ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS THAT I HAVE EVER READ. I REALLY LIKED THAT THIS BOOK WAS VERY EASY TO READ.KESSA IS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT THAT LOVES TO DANCE, AND TRYS TO PLEASE HER DANCE TEACHER BY LOOSING WEIGHT, BUT IT GETS OUT OF CONTROL AND SOONER THEN SHE KNOWS IT. SHE HAS BECOME ANOREXIC, AND THE WHIOLE BOOK TALKES ABOUT HER TROUBLES.THE BOOK WAS VERY DETAILED. I COULD REALLY FOLLOW ALONG AS KESSA STURGGLED AND SANDY HER PHYCISATSIICTS HELPED HER TROUGH THE HARD TIMES.I RECOMEND THAT EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK. I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE TITLE I DIDNT THINK THAT IT WENT WITH THE BOOK BUT OVER ALL I GAVE IT A 5 BECAUSE IT WAS A REALLY GREAT BOOK. I WOULD ADIVIS EVERYONE TO READ THIS BOOK. I BELIVE THAT IT WILL BE VERY ENJOYABLE FOR YOU, AND I ALSO BELIVE IT WILL GO BY VERY FAST AS YOU READ.THIS IS THE KIND OF BOOK THAT ONCE YOU SET DOWN TO READ YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. THERE ARE SOME LONG CHAPTERS IN THE BOOK AND THERE ARE SOME SHORT CHAPTERS BUT THEY WILL GO BY FAST. CONSIDER READING THE BEST LITTLE GIRL IN THE WORLD.THERE IS ONE THING TO REMEMBER IS THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. YOU COULD END UP LIKE KESSA IN THE BOOK.

Review: I liked this book a lot i would recomend this book to everyone. This story was about this girl named Kessa,this girl had Anerexia Nervousa and was on the verge of dieing. She was sent to the hospital and was cured of her sickness.

Summary: The Bes Little Girl In The World
Review: As a victim to anorexia i totally know what Kessa was going through! I Loved this bok! It related to me in so many ways and though some of you think this is a bunch of lies it really is true! You see I have been an anorexic for almost a year now and i understand the fear and the panic she felt after she ate! It was like looking at my twin or something because i'm 5'4'' and reached all of thoses weightes thrn they put my on hyperal! So basically this book was totally real and the best ever!

Review: Kessa is overcome my the dissaproval of her dance teacher with her weight. She decided to stop eating, but was that the right choice? Kessa beleived so and while everyone thought she was getting too thin, she thought she was way too fat! Kessa keeps dropping off the pounds even though her enraged father has stopped her dance classes and she has become horribly thin! Kessa is placed in the hospital because fo her dieting and there she takes the ridgety path to recovery! Her theropist, Sandy Shirman, and her try to banish her terrible obsessions and rituals that are killing her. But will it work, or will she just keep losing untill she dies?This book if filled with the thoughts of a girl going through anorexia nervosa, from the time she stares to the end! It takes you inside the horrifying mind if her as she shares her fears, thoghts and plans with you!

Review: Wow. I loved this book so much! I can't believe that she would think that she was fat!!! I really liked this book even though it was made like twenty years ago it still seems like it's a new book. I would give this book a million stars because I could relate to it so much!!!! I really want to see the movie that stars Jennifer Jason Leigh and Helen Hunt but I can't find it anywhere!!! I hope that the sequal to this book "Kessa" is as good as this one was. I love this book!!!

Review: I love this book because it goes into detail of what the life is like of an anorexic and how Kessa copes with it. It also teaches you the dangers of anorexia and how powerful this disease is and how we should take more time to try and treat it.

Review: As a recovering anorexic, I found this book to be extremely helpful. I have read this book 11 times now, and I can't get enough of it. Unlike many books on eating disorders it told the whole unlikable truths, the lieing, stealing, etc. I have just ordered the movie and hope it is half of what the book was.

Summary: Levenkron weaves everything together beautifully.
Review: Wow! I cannot rave enough! You can turn the page at random and find writing to almost make you gasp. Francesca Dietrich is easy to identify with, and Sandy is an enjoyable character, mainly because it's so obvious it's him who helps her get over anorexia. I loved it! Haunting.

Summary: A great story of something I didn't understand before.
Review: I am 13 years old and I found the book 'the Best Little Girl inthe World' at a book sale. I was hesatent to by it at first because Iwas sacred of things like that. I read it and straight away I decided I'd made a good choice straight away recommending to a friend. She loved it as well, accept for the bit where they insert the tube into her chest (she skipped this bit entirely because she dosen't have a strong stomach). Being at a private all girls' school you would think I would have come up against the disorder at least once,but no! never have I seen this in anyone! The book broadened my view of this terrible disorder which before I read the book was simply where "Girls' starve themselves to lose weight" It was really good but sometimes I just wanted to reach in and punch Kessa because of her attitude. I then researched the disorder and wrote a short story of my own for which I achieved an A-.I'm now doing a Scienc project on it. I'm going to read the book again. It was really good!

Summary: Read this if you want more lies....
Review: Levenkron wrote "The Best Little Girl in the World" in the 1970's. Sence that time there have been many more discoveries. It is now known that anorexia is not related to control or attention. In this novel that is all that is discussed. The poor girl's sick behavior is focused on, the disease is all that is discussed. What about recovery? I am 19 and been in 3 treatment centers for eatting disorders. If you want to focus on crazy behavior and pre historic theory's about eatting disorders, go ahead and read this. If not read something else, anything else. I can gaurantee it will be better from the sole then this book of lies.
