Review: The plot of this book is exceptional. Every character in this book is affected in anyway. This book shows the tue meaning of dying for the cause of freedom and standing up for what is right. I loved and simply enjoyed reading this book!

Summary: Great for International Students
Review: I am using this book with my international students in an attempt to get them to read and learn about the Revolutionary War. These intermediate-level high school students are riveted and I have been quite pleased that they are in fact learning American history and loving the book.

Summary: Great book, but didn't know about the two versions!
Review: Very few books are dedicated to this time frame in our nation's history. I ordered a partial class set to augment the few our school already owned. I assumed that even though the covers were different, the text would be the same...same authors...same publisher, etc. But we were all surprised to see that one version was sprinkled with curse words. The text reads exactly the same in both versions, the curse words being the only difference. Why were they added?

Summary: Excellent book
Review: I had to read this book for a book report for my history class. I loved it. I'm not much of a book reader. I hate reading but this book brought tears to my eyes when I read it. In this book Tim is in the middle of a war, one between his brother and his father, and one between the british and the rebels. During the course of this book he learns some life lessons that help him in the future. Even though the title give away the end of the book, if they hadn't named the title that it would have been more suspensful. Despite that I throughly enjoyed the book and I've never had a book affect me the way this one did.

Review: i thought this would be an exciting book. i kept reading and reading waiting to get to the good part, but i never did. i found it boring and had no point! i wouldn't even consider looking at the sequel.

Summary: Read This Book and be Swept Away By Its Brillant Plot!!!!
Review: Madonna, Sean Connery and all the other superstars would love this masterpiece, which moved me to tears. When he got shot I just cried my heart out. It was the best book I've ever read, and I'm 65 and I read a book everyday, and my little glasses are getting worn out from reading this book every day, and I eat my favorite dish, a Spamwhich with ketchup and sour cream, with a raw tomato and an egg yolk power drink. And Sometimes when my table is off balance, I use this book to prop up one of the legs. I hope you enjoy this masterpiece.

Summary: A great and facinating story about the struggles far ago.
Review: This book captivated me and made me read longer and longer until it was time for dinner. Collier(s) does a marvoules job of showing the struggles during the Revolutionary War. A must read for and war buff. Great for kids ages 12-18, or even for adults. There is violance and some full discriptions of graphic scenes. Rated PG-13 on my scale. -Roddy Flynn 7th Grader

Review: This book is an amazing story about a boy that is stuck between his brothers patriotism and his fathers loyalty to the king . A terrific flowing story that covers the war from beginning to end.

Review: My Brother Sam is Dead is pretty good for being a book for young adults. It isn't very hard to read and tells an individual story of the Revolutionary War. This book isn't bad.
