Summary: Not a Very Up-Lifting Book
Review: This is one of those books that puts you in a badmood for the rest of the day. This book reminds me of the X-Files more than anything. This book shows how the government controles our lives.

Summary: ahh. memories
Review: I remember reading this in high school. It was the only book in the curriculum (spelling?) that i enjoyed and read on my own. read it... Oh yeah, isn't it banned now?

Summary: Awesom book, Awesom ending!
Review: I think Robert Cormier deserves a hand on this one. As I read I thought of how it was all possible and I thought of things I've never thought of before. I think the book was perfect til the end. No, I take that back. The ending was perfect too. It was just confusing. Im a little young (13) so reading the end was hard. I read it and then sat in my bed and thought about for a long time. Im still a little confused but I think that is the point of the book. To take everything Adam has said and wash it down the toilet. I reccomend this book to anyone who wants to be a therapist when they grow up or likes books that make you think. It is a great book!

Summary: Oh my god!!!! This book ruined my life!!!!
Review: I was enjoying this book right up to about 5 pages form the end. I was very impressed and I was very excited about the climax I had read so much about. I got to the exciting bit, thought "wow" and that is when it all went horribly wrong. The author did not see fit to enlighten the reader on what exactly was going on inside this boy's head. Or, more to the point, how much of it was true and what was actually wrong with him. I turned the last page, threw the book accross the room, screamed a rude word at it and sat down to try and work out what it was all about. I got nowhere. Please, if anyone else has even a theory on what happened at the end e-mail me and tell me. This book brought me nothing but pain, anguish and a very substantial fine. I am only thankful that I did not waste perfectly good money on it.

Summary: Compelling, mysterious, heart breaking, suprising
Review: This a great book about a boy unlocking the secrets to his past. The way that Robert Cormier has all of the smaller events all turn into one is unbelievable. This was one of my favorite books that was ever written, a true masterpiece. When I first started reading it, I thought that it was going to be a boring book but I couldn't have been more wrong.

Summary: Good book and good style
Review: I am the cheese is the definition of a good book with good style. The plot is confusing but keeps you hooked on the book.

Summary: The Best confusing book on Earth!!!
Review: I find this book interesting yet confusing. The author foreshadows little details that give the ending to the book. How do you think Gray's men found Adam (a.k.a. Paul) and his family on their car trip? It's the... oh wouldn't you like to know, huh? I greatly recomend that you read this book. It's for mature 14-year-olds and up.

Summary: This book is very confusing.
Review: I think this story has a wonderful line and a unique format. The format makes it very difficult to follow, but has a wonderful element of suprise at the end. The title is understood in the last four words of the book. I just read this (7th grade) recomended by my literature teacher. i have mixed feelings about this book and would recomend it to anyone willing to submit to chaos.

Summary: What's the matter??!?
Review: I remember reading this book in seventh grade and finding it to be one of the most moving books I had read to that moment in my life. And, no, I'm not that old either, a Freshman in college. To those of you from seveth to ninth grade, the book is not about understanding everything but rather making a strong emotional connection with the narrator. I hope you can look back on this work of art later in life and cherish its memory as I do now.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Hated the book.
Review: I actually thought I understood this book until the end. I had to read this book for an 8th grade english class and would not recommend it to anyone. The end left me confused.
