Review: I AM THE CHEESE IS ABOUT A KID TAKING THEARAPY TO REMEMBER HIS PAST. HE FINDS ABOUT HIS SECRECT LIFE AND YOU FIND OUT IT'S A BIT INTRESTING. THIS BOOK IS VERY, VERY CONFUSING AND SHOULD BE READ BY PEOPLE OVER 15. OKAY ENDING BUT CHOCHOLATE WAR, ANOTHER OF ROBERTS BOOKS IS A LOT BETTER.

Summary: What I Think
Review: Personally, i think the book "i am the cheese" was a waste of my time. it was hard to understand and if i didn't have to read it for school, then i wouldn't have read it. i was forced to read this book so therefore i found little excitement in this book. through the book, the author doesn't make his subjects clear which made me confused. actually, i think this book was so bad it shouldn't even receive on star - maybe a 1/2 of a star.

Summary: I am the Cheese
Review: I thought this book was really good. It had an excellent plot that jept you guessing the whole book! To really get the plot though, you must read the very last taped sessions.

Summary: I am the Cheese
Review: Another one of Cormier's young people books, I am the Cheese is outstanding in its own way. A poignant tale of a boy finding his identity in the world and in the process, gets tangled up in his past, present and sub-conscious. At first the chapters were rather confusing, but it holds you. The story was disturbing, the connections hit you if you think about it and as the pieces start to fit the message starts to pierce deep. Such books in big dozes may promote paranoia, though.

Summary: I Am The Cheese
Review: Many of the other reviews only gave this book one or two stars, but I truly believe that it deserves a full five stars. Robert Cormier had been one of my favorite authors for about two years and I think his work is just amazing. I agree that all his writings are a little on the sad side, depressive even. But that is what makes them a piece of literary art. This is the story of confused Adam Farmer, or is he really Adam Farmer? Is his Father really David? Is his mother really Louise? Who are they? Cormier portrays the questioning of one's identity in a beautiful and impressive way. A suspenseful tale of government corruption, secrets and lies, and the painful discovery of the truth, answering the question who are we? and where are we all going?

Summary: READ THIS REVIEW
Review: This book, "I am the Cheese" is a pretty complicated book. Personally I don't really like this type of book. "I am the Cheese" is a suspenseful book with many surprises. Robert Cormier gave the book feeling with great style. Although this was a great book, I feel Cormier did not write a sufficient ending to this book. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Summary: rami review
Review: I felt that the book was very boring and I would not have read it if I was not forced to. I found this book was very confusing but at the end of the book everything comes together. I would not recomend this book to anyone one because i didnt like it and it had no meaning.

Summary: mixed feelings
Review: well, the parts where Brint (the phsyciatrist) was interviewing Adam, that was really boring. But Adams so called "journey" was very interesting to read about. This book was so-so. If you like mind games, you will like this.

Summary: I am the Cheese- a different book
Review: I am the Cheese was an interesting book. At the beginning I found it difficult to grasp, but as the story unraveled I found it became easier and easier to understand. I felt that I am the Cheese was well written and that Robert Cormier used an excellent style. The variety of sentence structure and use of vocabulary added to the suspense I felt whils reading this book. On the other hand, I felt that the idea of this book was too off- the- wall for me to ever be completely absorbed in the reading. I am the Cheese was very different compared to any book I've read before because the author doesn't tell you what is going on. I found myself making assumptions that I wasn't sure I wanted to make. Personally, I like to know what is happening in detail when I read, so I wasn't overly impressed with this "never know" aspect of the story. All in all,I am the Cheese is a book that I wouldn't recommend to people like me who like to know what is happening in a book. Any other young adult, however, might like this story. The only other thing I have to say is let your imagination soar and keep your eyes open while reading I am the Cheese!

Summary: Gripping 'till the end!
Review: This book was very well written. It kept my attention throughout the whole book. At first I thought this would be another boring book we had to read for school, because it was slow and confusing, but as I read on, I kept wanting to read more to find out what happened next. It was gripping until the end. I've heard when you ask questions about a book after you've read it that you are interested. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, then I was REALLY interested, because I was asking a million questions, and when it was all sorted out in my head I thought it was a very clever story.Cormier kept switching perspectives of the story which was very interesting. I enjoyed this book a lot!
