Summary: A stunning page turner
Review: Lyra and her daemon Pantalaimon realy bring this book to life. The plot is so interesting and thick you won't want to put it down. Philip Pullman has a amazing way of painting a collage in your mind filled with confusion, fear, mystery, suspense, excitement and adventure. (Better then the Redwall series and the Chronicles of Narnia.)

Summary: Wow!
Review: If you liked A Wrinkle in Time, you'll love The Golden Compass. Its a mix of fantasy, science fiction, and a little bit of horror. It's a marvelous book!

Review: The plot always thickens and you will get so intensly cought up in it that you won't be able to put it down!I was shearching for the second book for so long intill I found it in this.Have fun reading this book OR ELSE!!!

Summary: Wonderfull, but 'The Subtle Knife' is not as good.
Review: This is most definately the BEST BOOK I've ever read. Phillip Pullman has made 1 mistake, though: The final book in the trilogy has to live up to the high standards he has already set for himself. (Very Difficult) As always, though, the first book is good, the second not so good, and the third even better than the first. I hope.

Review: I loved this book. I can't wait until the third book comes out. I think that Pullman is a great author and draws pictures in your mind of what the characters look like. I look forward to reading some of his other books. I love to read fantasy books.

Review: I read this book on Mother's Day - everyone left me alone while I read it, cover to cover. It is now in the hands of my kids. A great, imaginative and thought-provoking read.
