Summary: The reason for everyone to read fantasy.....
Review: This is one of the best fantsy books I have read. Philip Pullman writes expertly, twisting plots and then twisting them back again, taking the reader away from 'reality,' and bringing them into a whole new world where there is no right or wrong, and 'the only limit is your imagination.' Although The Golden Compass may be difficult for younger readers or those who are new to this strange and wonderful world, it is definately a treasure.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty Good...
Review: But i wouldn't read it if you aren't into fantasy, it got kinda confusing sometimes with the different worlds and weird places. Also, it gets a bit graphic, especially with Iorek and Iofer, but it was still a good book.
