Summary: Life Has Great Surprises
Review: The book Are You There God It's Me Margaret is written by Judy Blume. It is a great book! I love this book because it is all about a girl's preteen stage. No offense, but boys probably would not relate to this book. The main character, Margaret, had troubles with her life. She was the new kid in town and she met some girls but didn't really feel comfortable with them. She counted on God to make her troubles fade by the power of prayer. I like how she was not afraid to speak up to someone about what she feels in her heart. Margaret needed help and she needed someone to talk to but his someone didn't talk back, he acted on behalf of her problem. She wasn't afraid to talk to God about what she worried about. Overall, the book told girls that they should not worry about what life gives. Margaret certainly was aware about what was going to happen to her next!

Review: This book was a good bookits was about growing up. Margaret has moved to a town and meeting new people at the same time she goign though alot of changes with her life and her body. I would recamind this book to any girl because they probibly experiance changes with them selfs and beacuase it is alwso a funny book.

Summary: Inspiring Book for Young Readers
Review: Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret is the best book I've ever read. To me the book was a guide through the rough years of my life. The book was full of raw emotion and drama. The book was about an 11 going on 12 year old girl trying to cope with moving to a strange new town and normal pre-teen things. Overall I'd say this was a very well written book.

Summary: An old friend re-visited
Review: My 11 year old niece currently occupies the space between being a child and becoming a teenager. Recent conversations with her (about how gross the idea of kissing is, other girls getting boobs, the need for deodorant) reminded me of conversations I had had with my friends a while ago. Then I realized those conversations were with Margaret, the heroine of Are you there God, it's me Margaret? So I'm buying her a copy of this book to let her know she's not the only one out there who wonders these things. As another reviewer said, this is not the pinnacle of Western literature. However, it is just right for girls at this stage.

Review: This book has become a classic of pre-teen literature. Now a new generation of readers is enjoying and benefitting from this wise and wonderful story. I have given this book to several of my grandchildren. Growing up isn't always easy, and they have appreciated it.

Review: Are You There God? It's Me Margaret, is a book you can resist. The life of Margaret, and the troubles of becoming a women; her family life and religion is a part of it too. She hold's her head strong and finally does what she wanted to achieve. She makes new friends, make friends with her enemies, and find the true hardship of becoming a women. Specifically, it targets girl's who are religious and are going through your older stages. This is the kind of book, you'll read over and over.

Review: One of the best books I have read in the past year hast to be Are you there God its me Margaret by Judy Blume. It is a marvelous book about a girls` life and what I go threw. One of the major reasons I enjoyed this book is that I can relate to it because she goes through changes like I was going through. Another reason I found this book to be wonderful is now I know I am not the only one girl who was different. Of course my favorite reason for loving this book is now I can talk to my gram ma like a sister. All in all ,Are you there God its me Margaret by Judy Blume is totally my favorite book.

Summary: The book that every girl should read
Review: The summer going into my 12th year my Aunt gave me some books. As I was an avid reader, I was thrilled.I did not, however, expect to read a book that would change my life.
Reading about girls my age going through what I was too embarrassed to talk about was incredible. I saw a little bit of myself in Margaret, Nancy, Gretchen , and Janie.
Reading Are you there God... also made me think about different religions, family relationships,and about how I would feel when I got my period. I must have read it fifty times and each time was as great as the time before.
Twenty years later I still love this book. And if I ever begin to feel old, I pick it up and I am twelve years old again and it feels wonderful.

10/23/02 Over the summer I read a very exciting book. The book is called "Are you there God it' s me Margaret". This book is by Judy Blume. This book is about four girls that form a serect club called the four pre-teen sensations. The book is mostly about how to get through early adolescence. Not many boys read this book. In my opinion every boy should read this book. They should read it because they should know what pre-teen girls go through. The main characters name is Margaret Simon. She is a very nice person. Yet, no matter how nice she is, she is influenced very easily. Nancy Wheeler is also an important character in this book. In my opinion she is a selfish, rude and impolite young lady. The third of the four pre-teen sensations goes by the name of Gretchen. Gretchen has a tendency of eating too much. She also goes along with everything Nancy does. The last girl's name is Janie. She is sort of like Gretchen except she doesn't eat too much, yet she is behind Nancy all the time backing her up. I highly suggest this book to girls 10 and up. It is not a very long book but it is a very fun book to just sit down and read. If you need a good book for this summer or any time you should go grab this sensational book. When you're finished, I promise you will want to read it again.
