Rating: Summary: It's a good book for young girls who are growing up Review: This book is about a girl who just moved to a new town. She doesn't live near any of her grandparents. When they come see her, they push her to decide what kind of religion she wants to be, a Jew or Christian. The whole book she is trying to decide what kind of religion to be and all about her life growing up as a sixth grade girl.
Rating: Summary: A junky book with too much private sayings. Review: This book tells too much about a girl teenagers body when they're growing up.Disgusting and unappropriate.Tells too much about developing. You can miss this one if you'd like.

Rating: Summary: A must for any young woman experiencing growing pains Review: I have read this book several times. I know what Margaret is going through. I wondered when my womanhood would arrive too. Now I wonder just why do we have to deal with it? It's a heartwarming book. It explains the pressures of being a pre-teen woman. I recommend this book to young girls. It will make growing up seem easier.
Rating: Summary: An absolute must for teen-age girls Review: I read this book as a pre-teen more times than I can remember. I thought about it the other day and decided to look it up. Thank God, I found it. I can't wait to give it to my daughter one day. But for now, I'm going to buy it for myself. --Carla
Rating: Summary: A great book about a pre-teen girl. Review: I love this book! It deals with the worries of a pre-teenage girl and her three friends. It deals with issues that all girls of that age and over can relate too. Judy Blume is an exellent author.
Rating: Summary: Very good Review: The first time that I read the book was when I was 11 years old. The way Margret felt was the same way that I felt at that very moment. The book helped me understand that everyone grows at their own time.
Rating: Summary: It exposed my inner child! Ahhhhhhh! Review: I read this book in sixth grade. I remember PRAYING that my period would start and I'd look at bras in department stores and wonder if I would be better off getting an operation to make my breasts bigger since I'd never even fill my training bra on my own. It happened for me, just as it began to for Margaret. I will be giving this book to my own daughters in a year or two as I find that talking directly about sex is often uncomfortable and easier to discuss if happening to someone else, especially a character in a book! Yes, Maragret and her pals DID get silly, like making names of boys that they liked and discussing them. So did I with my friends. It is so cool to know that this book is still in print and I can talk to my own kids about this type of goofy behaviour and tell them waht is normal and what isn't and what they'll die thinking of what they had done at their ages when they grow up!
