Rating: Summary: Amazing, captivating, I could relate to the characters. Review: Are You There God Its Me Margaret was my favorite book of all time. I read it for the first time when I was twelve. I felt that I knew Margaret, like she was my friend. I re-read the book at least once a year to remind myself of the time when I was twelve. I don't know how much I have actually read the book but I'm sure that it has been too many times to count. Now that I am in my twenties, its amazing that a book like this could have such an impact on my life. Its not because there is a lot of drama, or guts or gore, just that I could relate to the character and I felt by the end of the book sad to say goodbye.
Rating: Summary: This is one of the best!! Review: This book was my 2nd favorite that I have ever read. Judy Really did a great job on this book. Though if I were to tell anyone you should read it when you are in 6th grade. This is a wonderful book and I am serious that I read it in one day! i couldn't put it down!!
Rating: Summary: ********GOOD BOOK ******** Review: This book is really spectacular. It talks about all of the stuff you want to know but don't want to ask. It is very comforting to learn that the characters in the book are going through the same things your going through.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful and very detailed Review: This was one of Mrs. Blume's best books. If you are a girl, ages 11-14, this book is for you.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely one of the best books. Review: This book was probably the best book I will ever read. Margaret has to go through many changes when she moves to New Jersey dealing with friends, family, and puberty. I read it 30 times! I'm serious! The only thing I would change was to update it to the 00's.
Rating: Summary: I'm a BOY and I LOVED it. Well, not LOVED it, but... Review: FOR BOYS ONLY: If you are a boy and like a girl, read this book. If your girl is 10-11-12 yrs, read this book and UNDERSTAND it. It gives ALOT of information.
Rating: Summary: It is the book to read for girls! Review: Are You There God? Its Me, Margaret is the most wonderful book for growing girls. I loved it when I read it with my 15-year-old sister. She said when she was my age it was her bible. It's a story about a 12-year-old girl going through puberty with parents that don't believe in religion. This matters because Margaret talks to god and she doesn't know what to believe in. She moves from New York City to New Jersey. This book will move you in many ways!
Rating: Summary: A Very Useful and Funny Book! Review: I really loved this book! I thought it was really interesting to see what Margret thought about growing up and stuff, becuase it is not something you go around and ask all you friend.("So xxx, are you scared about getting your period, and by the way, do you wear tisseus in your bra?") etc. I think that this is deffinitly a funny and useful book for pre-teen girls. I am still on tyhe look out for other books like this one. ( Girls talking about thier thoughts in their pre-teen years)
Rating: Summary: Excellent book! Review: I first read this book when I was around 12, and loved it! Mostly, I appreciated Judy Blume's honesty about what growing up and facing decisions is really about. I would highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: An Exquisite Book Review: This is an exquisite book, and very funny, so I give it a five star rating. It's about a girl named Margaret who just moved to New Jersey. She becomes friends with a girl named Nancy and Nancy's friends. They form a club and deal with the issues of growing up, like wearing a bra and starting their periods. Margaret has a hard time deciding what to do about religion in her life, too. All girls should read this book!
