Summary: The book was about a girl who had many decisions to make.
Review: I think this book was a great book because it was fiction but based on a real story. She has to choose a religon. she doesn't know what to choose from. She's in a group called the PTA'S. They all have made up names, keep a boy book, tell about it when they get their periods. If you are a person who gets into books you'll like this one.

Summary: Unrealistic View of a Sixth Grader. Judy bombed this time!!
Review: I got this book because it seemed fairly intresting and looked like a good read, and I loved Blubber and It's Not the End of the World. Boy was I disappointed. This book was totally unrealistic. It was supposed to be a realistic view of a sixth grader. WRONG!!! I don't know any girl my age who would make such a big deal over getting a stupid bra. I did, however, like the parts about the boys and Margaret struggling with religion. If Judy Blume were to write a book strictly about this, I'd be first in line to buy it!!! Too bad it was ruined by everything else. Also, at my school, a period is just something you get and life moves on. Please, if you want a realistic view of a sixth grader, read something like It's Not the End of the World, or Blubber. This may or may not be in sixth grade, but they are much better. Judy Blume has bombed with Are You there God?!

Summary: It had real-life issues with which girls can relate to.
Review: Teaching preteen girls about themselves and their personal growth can be hard. Judy Blume does an excellent job of looking throught the eyes of a young girl and writing a story about it. Girls of this age can sometimes feel young and unimportant, like they are not 'right'. Perhaps if a girl who is having some personal problems needs something to let her know she is not alone, then this book is a good way to tell her. I believe that preteen girls would be able to relate to some of the fellings Margaret is going through, and that this book would definately be appropiate for those girls to read.

Summary: Judy Blume is a great author
Review: Although I am no longer a teenager, I can surely remember reading every Judy Blume book that was written at that time. Her books were the best and most entertaining. I was able to relate in some way to a character in each of her books. Judy was able to put humor and understanding into the trying life of a teenager. Her books are absolutely wonderful.

Summary: It was so-so! :)
Review: It was so-so! I wasn't so sure! Parts of it were really for young adults (this whole book was for young adults!) and in parts it was a little gross! I read this book myself and i actually laughed at them in parts because they were pathetic and RIDICULOUS!!! :) This book wasn't that bad though, some parts I really liked, like when Margeret went to church with her friends and to a temple with her grandmother- I liked hearing about that- I am in the 6 grade and I could relate to some parts but all in all the book was in the middle.

Review: My mother gave me this book as an eleven-year-old girl. It is an easy read. It humorously tells of a girl, growing up,learning and experincing pubirty the HARD way. This delightful book is a must read for curious young girls, and should be shared between mother and daughter.

Review: I thought this was a novel that new exactly what I was thinking. It dealt with sort of the same problems at my school even if there in a slight century difference. Even if you know all about that kind of stuff, it is good to know the same point of view.
