Review: This story was absolutely amazing. Many times I put the book down in wonderment, realizing this was a true story. That this was real. Nancy's story is a helpful resource to any teen who has to face a scary disease. Nancy lends you hope when the world looks bleak. She tried to be so happy in her short troubled life. This book is very much a tearjerker but an excellent one at that. Nancy's diary makes you think and most teen books out there today don't deliver that. Nancy's heartbreaking story is something everyone should read and hold close to your heart.

Review: I read it happened to nancy and this is wjhat i thought of thebook! The book was about a young teenager that had got date raped andended up getting pregnant and she has many troubles durning the way! She finds out the guy that she was dating was a guy that was not caring at all and how he is very ruff and really not her trype at all! and then she has to ttell her parent s what could be the hardest thing she has ever had to do! But she finds out that her mom was the best thing that ever happend to her and. When she cant go to her school anymore because she is starting to show she has to start a differnt one and she hates it! And when she is ready to give up something happend s.? I choose to do this book for the review because this bok has helped many people and i loved the book it made me relize how importnt being safe and being close with your friends and parents are! Also this book influnced me alot and it thought me how to keep myself out of a sitution like hers

Review: The book "It happened to Nancy" explains the life of a girl who has AIDS. This book is her diary, and it explains what has happened to her all the way through her battle with AIDS and how she copes with it. This is an excellent book to read . I would recommened it to anyone of all ages because AIDS is a big problem in the world today. Also if you think that you have is bad, this is an excellent book to read to tell you that you have it a lot easier than some people. Also at the end of the book, there is some back round information on her and some things that she didn't write in the book. Also there are some little thing that her parents said about her and her life. Lastly the book has 5 question and answer pages. On the pages are any questions that you may possibly have about HIV, AIDS orany other AIDS related questions.

Review: It Happened To Nancy was a spectacular, moving book. It teaches many lessons, and it goes inside Nancy's mind to show what she is really going through.One of the main lessons it teaches is that it can happen to you. Nancy was just and average, happy 14-year-old who got involved with the wrong guy. Nancy, thought that was what she wanted, but she soon found out it wasn't. Her boyfriend ,Colin, raped her and gave her A.I.D's. Nancy thought she was being careful, choosing her boyfriends, but she wasn't careful enough. Which brings us to another lesson which was taught in the book: you have to be careful and aware of who you are involved with, or else there could be a harsh consequence. This book is so effective in showing its lesson because it is Nancy's actuall diary so it is all from Nancy's point of view. She writes about her fears, joys, frustrations, ambitions, etc. After hearing Nancy's point of view, it's really scary, so you know you would never want to go through exactly what she went through. It's the kind of book that makes you think and take action to protect yourself. I would recommend this book to anyone older than 12. If you are any younger and read this book, you wouldn't understand it. Also, there are sex, and explicit language used in the book. But anyone over 12 should read this book because it teches you so much and it is just as good book!

Review: It happened to nancy. This was a very fascinating book, It happend to Nancy is a true story about a girl who gets into some trouble. It's about a girl who gets raped by an older man. Nancy grows to love him and trust him, but then rapes her. A few months later Nancy finds out she has AIDs. The book is a diary that's writen by Nancy. When I read the book, I felt like Nancy, because she describes her feeling so well. The story make you feel like her. The book is a lesson. It teaches a lot of things, like to wait untill you fall inlove. This is one of my favorite books. I would advice every teenager to read this fantasic book. They can learn all about the real world and about how to learn from Nancy's mastakes.

Summary: Can This Really Happen to You?
Review: I read the book, It Happened to Nancy. It was written by Nancy, herself (her real name was chanced for the book). I thought this book was a very good book. I would give it five stars. The reason I thought this was a good book because it was very moving. It was like you just wanted to reach out and give her a hug. Another reason I loved this book so much is because you can learn a lot from it. I didn't relate to the situation but I could relate to the ways she dealt with things. At first she wanted to exclude herself from everyone and then she was very angry, but in the end she came to terms with things and loved herself even more. The third reason I liked this book so much was because it really made me think twice about who I trusted and what decisions I wanted to make. I will definitely be more cautious about who I talk to on the streets. Even though the person could seem like the nicest person in the world they could have a totally different side to them. I think anybody who reads this review, should give this book a chance. It is a very good book and it could really change the way you look at life.

Summary: A diary on HIV
Review: It Happened to Nancy is a true story about a girl who gets HIV. In the beginning of her diary her life starts off good. She's going to a concert with her friends, or the gaggle. At the concert she meets Collin. Collin was a college student. Nancy fell in love with Collin. She thought he loved her at least until he date raped her. After she was raped she wanted to forget everything Collin was about. Soon her life was back to normal until everything got dumped upside down again. Nancy found out she got the HIV virus from Collin. In the rest of the book she gives graphic details on how HIV made her sick. She goes back and forth from her divorced parent's homes hoping it will make her better. Sometimes she even gets to the point of shutting out her friends from her life. She soon realizes she needs her friends and parents to make it through life. I gave this book a rating of four stars. It is a good book, it shows how good friends and family are by your side at a time of need. I also gave it a high rating because it gave me a better understanding of what HIV and AIDS are all about. I know now from reading this book how sick people with HIV can sometimes get. The reason I didn't give it a full five stars was because it was gross. Numerous times she talks about how she bleeds and wets her pants. This book also got boring sometimes because there is no dialogue. Don't let those two problems stop you from reading this book. I would recommend this book to anyone because it shares a lot of problems with HIV to the outside world.

Review: This book was definately filled with emotions. When 14 yr. old Nancy met Collin for the first time, she feel head over heels for him. Bad move. One night while her mom was away, Collin comes over and rapes her. She wanted to erase it from her memory like it had never happened. Then she gets HIV and becomes very sick. Guys like Collin are everywhere not just in these types of books. This book will definately help you chose who pick as your boyfriend. Hint: Don't pick a totally stranger.
