Summary: Great sad heart wrenching
Review: Its one of those stories where you stop while your reading it and realize it could happen to me. I'm almost 14 myself, what if this happened to me, I could feel the same pain as she did and so could you. I feel this story is right for anyone, and will make anyone realize the truth in this world. That its not such a safe place and even though you wish you could you can't trust everyone. If you haven't read it please do. We need to know the truth

Summary: Outstanding realism writing as Nancy battles with AIDS
Review: When you first meet Nancy she is an ordinary teen with ordinary problems, then you get to know the man who rips her ordinary teen life away for her. It's gripping as you read day by day of her sad life. You cry with her, you rejoice with her, and you see her problems. This book is for anyone with the urge to feel what's real about AIDS.

Summary: Great but sad.
Review: IT HAPPENED TO NANCY IS A STORY OF A FOURTEEN YEAROLD GIRLS FIGHT WITH AIDS. IT DEFINITALLY MADE ME REALIZE AIDS CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE. THE STORY MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I PERSONALLY HAD GONE THROUGH THE TRIALS OF BEING RAPED, LEARNING I HAD AIDS, AND TRYING TO LIVE A NORMAL DAY TO DAY LIFE. THROUGHOUT THE BOOK I ME EXPERIENCE HAPPINESS, SORROW, AND HAVING TO FACE THE REALITY OF DEATH. THROUGHOUT THE BOOK IT FELT LIKE NANCY WAS MY OWN FRIEND AND I WANTED TO SOMEHOW MAKE HER BETTER. I WOULD DEFINITYLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE. IT REALLY GIVES A NEW APPRECIATION FOR LIFE.

Summary: It was wonderful
Review: I thought that this book was wonderful. But while I was reading the book I just couldn't decide if I hated the book because I hate Collin or if I loved the book and felt bad for Nancy. I just don't understand how anyone could ever do that to a person that they supposedly loved. The book was very touching and heartfelt, I really felt that I knew her and that she was one of my friends and I just felt aweful and that I should do something then I remembered that it was book and there wasn't anything that I could do. But over all it was a wonderful book and I would reccomend it to everyone!

Summary: I couldn't put this book down
Review: This was the third book I have read from Beatrice M. Sparks and this was by far the best one. This story is about a teenage girl's life with AIDS. She tells us how it all began, ended and what happened in between. This story was a tear jerker and I was unable to put it down. It really showed me what goes through one's mind and how it affects her life physically as well as emotionally. The thought that it is a true story makes it all the more emotional. Everyone who I advised this book to, liked it just as much!

Summary: SAD AND WARM AT THE SAME TIME
Review: At first I thought 'why am I wasting my time?' but after I got to know the characters better, I started enjoying the book. The book is warm because Nancy has healthy relationships (with good friends, parents, animals, etc.) and she loved life and fun. I was especially impressed when Nancy was delighted over a mouse! Nancy loved animals, she loved her parents. She was a very positive person. It is so sad that a person so positive and upbeat had to get AIDS. Through this book, I almost felt as if I knew Nancy. I was saddened for her and I felt so bad for her. She suffered a lot, both physically and emotionally. It is so unfair that she was raped and hideously infected. I think tougher laws should be enforced for rapists. I am so sad that Nancy is gone and therefore there will not be a sequel to this book to tell about her life. All I can say is, I am so sorry it happened and I hope she is in a better place now with no suffering and only joy.

Review: This book is a great true story about a girl that has to live her life with AIDS. It was very sad, but also a very good true story that everybody should read. I would recommend this to anybody that is interested in reading a book about a 14 year old girl that has to go through life with the AIDS virus.
