Review: you like the the others? well this book has it all!one step closer to V.F.D are what the 3 orphans are. and there parents, dead right? this is the first book where count olaf isnt dressend up pretending to be somebody he's not.its the orpahns turn now. an astonishing book. who would have thought that chabo, along with the corn eaters, would work for count olaf! read this book he has done it again. best book since the Ersatz Elevator!
Rating: Summary: #9 disappoints as well as keeps you interested in #10 Review: The children dunt seem as smart, witty and quick as hay have been in previous stories. THe new characters are very interesting. As e dont get to see some of our past favs-Mr Poe and quagmire twins. Some +'s about #9-we find out about VFD. The end is so unbelievable...it'll keep u interested in the series as i think the series has hit a little low.
Rating: Summary: hilarious Review: This is the funniest book i've ever read. If you liked the other books you'll love this one. With even more black humor then usual and an interesting twists throughout the book to make this book different and better then any of his others. Extremely funny. Get this book and you'll love it. His best and funniest so far!
Rating: Summary: The Carnivorus Carnival Review: ...What i think this book really is is that it is a book just to set up future books. There is no plot except Voilet and Klaus trying to stay alive. Although this book has no plot it is quiet interesting. They dress up as freaks so that they can spy on Count Olaf at a Carnival. This book contains Lions, Freaks, Villians, and Surrow. It sounds like a tipical Series of Unfortuante Events. So in Conclusion i would read this book so you can get perpared for the future books and to read the interesting details that Daniel Handler always includes with his marvelous books. Good but not his best.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Series I have Ever Read !!! Review: I love these books! Ever since the day I read " The Bad Beginning"(the first in the series) I knew these books were VERY different, but that drawed me to the books. The series is about three unlucky childeren. Their parents were killed in a terrible fire. A man named Mr.Poe has been putting them with different parents for a while but each of the parents either can't take care of them or they suddenly die. A man named Count Olaf has been trying to catch them and maybe even kill 2 of the childeren so he can have their fortune(their parents were VERY rich). When they meet friends at a boarding school they find out more about the EVEN DARKER side of Count Olaf. I can't say much more because it would ruin the whole series. In "The Carnivorous Carnival" the childeren have to hid from Olaf at a freak show. They dress themselves up as freaks and then everything goes down hill from there. The ending is so sudden that you won't beleive it! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SERIES EVER, SO READ THEM ALL AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!
Rating: Summary: The Greatest!!!! Review: Lemony Snicket has done it again! The Carnivorous Carnival is just as good as his other books and better. If you read the series you can't miss this one!!! Though I must say, this series is absolutely addictive! He ends the book at a cliffhanger that makes you want to read the next one that second, but we have to wait a while until it comes out. The mystery just keeps getting better and better as Lemony Snicket adds more about himself, Beatrice, Count Olaf, and the Baudelaires. I'm sure we all have theories about what is the answer to the mystery, but I think Beatrice is the Baudelaires mom, it makes the most sense and there are loads of clues everywhere pointing to that. But of course knowing Lemony Snicket it will probably be just the opposite. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!! It is well worth your money especially if you are a fan.
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: Wow! This is the best of the best! Lemony Snicket's done it again! I got the book on the day it came out, and I love it! But, I must warn you, if you are starting a Series of Unfortunate Events, then don't read any of them past the fifth one until you've read the fifth one, and don't read past the seventh one 'til you've read it. O.K., I'll shut up now.
Rating: Summary: Brilliant Book! Review: This installment of the Baudelaire children's woes is a brilliant read. More of the tragic story unfolds culminating in a cliff-hanger ending. I'm looking forward to the next book.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Review: Great addition to the series. I love these books for their humour, plot twists, and the world that extends into our own that the author has created. I am in high school, and I have started getting my friends to read these, and they love them. This one was quite the cliff hanger! I can't wait for the tenth, The Slippery Slope, to come out!
Rating: Summary: A Series of Unfortunate Events Review: Very Creative, Always keeps you guessing on what is happening. The characters have a great apperances and traits. Very well written to keep you reading, I would recomend this book to anyone. 10 starts plus!!!
