Summary: This book is really good
Review: This book is really good for anyone that loves fantasy. Slagar the Cruel takes some of the Redwallers hostage to use them as slaves, but Matthias comes to the rescue. Matthias and his friends have to use logic and thinking to find the hostages. But they face trouble along the way. They meet more characters that help and hurt them. So i would reccomend this series to anyone that has a slight interest in fantasy, because it is truly a figment of Brian Jacque's imagination.

Summary: It's so good, you'll read it again and again!!
Review: Mattimeo is a sequel to Redwall. Captured by the slaver fox Slagar the Cruel and his band at Redwall Abbey's Midsummer Feast, Mattimeo and his friends Tim and Tess Churchmouse, Sam Squirrel and Cynthia Vole are taken to become slaves somewhere in the south. Meanwhile, Mattimeo's father, Matthias, along with his friends Basil Stag Hare and Jess Squirrel, mount a huge search to find and slay Slagar and his band and return the young ones to the abbey.

Mattimeo is full of suspense through the Midsummer's feast to the epic battle, this book will kepp you on the edge of your seat. Like all his other books, this is Brian Jacques at his best!

Summary: A wonderful book
Review: If you thought that mice could never be warriors or squirrels heroes, this book will prove you wrong. A sequel to the equally great "Redwall," "Mattimeo" chronicles the coming of age of a hero's son--from spoiled brat to tempered warrior. Containing one of the best villains ever, this book is engaging from start to finish and takes the reader out of the haven of the abbey to places of dark adventure. A great book.
