Summary: SIMPLY AMAZING!! WHAT FANTASY LOVERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!
Review: This is by far the best book I have read from Brian Jacques. In fact, it is my favorite book after THE GOLDEN COMPASS. The story was very well planed. It had one of the best plots I have read in a long time. This book is probably best for fantasy lovers within the age range of 10-45. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS FANTASTIC BOOK!!!

Summary: Best Ever!!!!!!!!
Review: This is without doubt one of the top three books in the series! The characters have great personalities, the plot is ingenious, the battles are lifelike and vivid, and, of course, there's plenty of food involved! Mr. Jacques, you surpassed yourself on this masterpiece - congratulations!

Summary: A Great Book
Review: This book really is an awesome book...I've read the first three redawall books and Mattimeo is my second favorite, behind Mossflower. Mattimeo is about the ceatures of redawall abby. One moment every creature is having a great time at the season's feast, and the next, everyone is asleep. When they awaken, the creatures find their young ones to be missing. Now, it is up to Mathias, the warrior of redwall, along with a few more creatures, to bring them back.

In this book, there is really two different stories going on. One is back at the abby where the inhabitants are trying to keep a flock of bird warriors from taking their abby and another concerning the rescue of the young creatures by Mathias and some of his comrads. Overall, this is a terrific book and I highly recommend it.

Summary: One of the best Redwall books!
Review: I really liked this book! I like this book because it is one of those books with adventures in it. I have 7 of these books and this is my favorite one! Its about a warrior's son who is taken by a fox named Slagar the Cruel. But the warrior whose name is Matthias takes a group of Redwall creatures and tries to find his child and the other Redwall children. As he teams up with old and new characters he goes on a dangerous journey through rivers, cliffs, and stange forests. Meanwhile the Redwall Abbey is being attacked by savage ravens! I won't tell the ending, so you'll have to get the book yourself! Its a great book!

Summary: From brat to warrior and from weakness to honor
Review: This is a great book for people who love adventures, perils, and good triumphing over evil. In this epic tale, a young mouse goes through the horror of slavery, beatings, death, and seeing his friends and parents being killed or hurt before his eyes. And through it all, he goes from being a spoiled brat, to the guardian and warrior of Redwall. The thrill and shock of this tale is enough t get anyones heart pumping. The battles and traps of Slagar the Cruel and Mathius, Warrior of Redwall Abbey, is breath taking. How everything can be lost with one wrong move or one wrong step. But through it all, Mathius gets his revenge on Slagar for capturing his young ones, redeems his honor, and passes on the glory of the protector of Redwall on to his son, Mattimeo.

Summary: The best of the best
Review: I began reading this series as a 7 year old now in college I still have the same glee I did at 7 when a new redwall book comes out...but I will simply say this of all the redwall books this is the one this is the peak...it is simply not to be missed if you are young or just still act like you are these books will take you somewhere else somewhere I for one would rather be :)

Trust me on this....there are few books that inspire so much and this is one on a very short list.

Summary: Mattimeo Rules!
Review: I am 8 years old and loved this book. Mattimeo was the most exciting book I have ever read. It was about kids and I'm a kid so I could relate to what they were thinking really good. This book is about a young mouse named Mattimeo, his friends and their troubles. Their parents have to save them. All I can say is that this book is the best book ever!
