Summary: Mattimeo
Review: The third book in the wonderfully written Redwall series, this follows the life of Mattimeo, Matthias the Warrior's son, as he is kidnapped and enslaved by the mysterious Slagar--a hooded fox who is seeking a twisted revenge on Redwall Abbey and its inhabitants.

While his father and the other Redwallers frantically search for him, the rebellious Mattimeo is forced to take care of the other Redwallers captured by Slagar and his band of rats, ferrets, stoats, and weasels. The book is mostly about Mattimeo's coming of age, but a side plot unfolds in Redwall Abbey itself.

As Matthias and his friends Basil Stag Hare, Jess Squirrel, and the Guosim shrews comb the woodlands and plains for Mattimeo and his friends, the animals left behind in Redwall Abbey face a threat from General Ironbeak, a warrior bird, and his vicious army of rooks and magpies. The Redwallers must defeat Ironbeak without the help of their Abbey Warrior, Matthias, and rely on their own courage and resourcefulness to help them save their home.

This is another excellent book from the critically acclaimed Redwall series.

Summary: Once again...
Review: And yet again i'm in a state of shock that i went through the whole thing so fast. Could not put the book down. Mattimeo was filled with many different plot twists, and backstabs. Alot of things from this book are making me wonder why the age range is supposivly so low. It seems to be pretty violent sometimes. But of course this is somthing i quite enjoy in the reading. I reccomend any book of the Redwall series to anyone of any age. (maybe not so much the little kids yet).

Summary: Great Scott! READ THIS BOOK!
Review: This book is my favourite of the Redwall series. It has a simple concept: see, Matti...not so. I lie. It's very complex and fun, and GOOD! Ahem. Brief rundown: Slagar the Cruel, seeking revenge against Matthias (remember Redwall?), kidnapps his son Mattimeo, along with other young creatures from the abby. Along the arderous journey to where they are to be sold as slaves, Mattimeo grows up and comes into his own as a warrior. Meanwhile, Matthias teams up with the parents of other captured young ones. Couradge, sacrifice, love, honor, and fighting'n'feasting abound. As usual, continuity abounds, as new friends are joyfully met, and old ones remain loved. Read this book.

Summary: Jacques does it again!
Review: Mattimeo is by far the best Redwall book out there, I having read up to Martin the Warrior and all those before it. I will not reveal much plot, but I must say that Slagar is THE coolest bad guy I have read. Not only is he sly and clever, but he wipes out anyone who gets in his way. As the sequel to Redwall, Mattimeo more that lives up to its standards and kept me riveted to my seat. ... Females, as I myself have proven, read this and and any other bloody-gorey book they want. I know I love that kind of thing, and so do many others.

Summary: Mattimeo- Book Review
Review: Mattimeo is a great book for people who like action. It is full of interesting journeys, and their are many problems. It is very interesting to see and hear the things from an animals perspective. Mattimeo also has a ton of humor. Mattimeo does have a quite a bit of violence in the battles, and the enemies are very violent. The good characters are very loving and caring. Overall, I think Mattimeo is a great book!

Summary: Mattimeo book 2 General Ironbeak by Brian Jacques
Review: I liked the battle between the rats and the rescuers. I liked the battle because I like fighting. Another reason is because I think it's the only good part. The good news is when they fight they don't use a bunch of high-tech weapons.

The best part, you already know, is the battle. I've already explained why. The next best part was when the abbey was attacked. By what I've read general Ironbeak is a raven. He is the leader of an army of birds.

The most vivid part would be the tracking down of Slagar. If you didn't know Slagar is a fox. You can uderstand this part very well. You can see everything thats happening. As you know one of the main characters is General Ironbeak. Although it is mostly about finding Mattimeo the son of Mathias the Redwall warrior. They eventually find Mattimeo, but you have to read the 3rd book to find out how they do.

Summary: Best Redwall book I ever read!!!!!!
Review: This book is the best in the series I have read so far! It is full of adventure and Slagar's plot is so devious,it draws you right in! And I like this being a sequal to Redwall. Great!

Summary: Not As Good As The First and Second But Still Good.
Review: It is still good to read but don't expect it to be as good as the first two. A good read for readers between ages 9-12. So go buy it today and read it.

Summary: Mattimeo a Tale from Redwall
Review: Mattimeo is the third book in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. Like all Redwall books there is more then one adventure going on at one time. They even resemble human personalities. Each chapter leaves you in suspense until the very end. You don't want to stop reading until you have finished the book. There is always a puzzle to be solved and a mystery to unravel. All the Redwall books are good, but this is by far the best I have read.
