Summary: Best Redwall book!
Review: Mattimeo is one of the best books in the Redwall series for me. It's about Mattimeo, the young mouse, who's usually getting in trouble for fighting with Vance, the new rat. When Slagar the Cruel and his crew come and kidnap Mattimeo and his friends to make them slaves, Mattimeo's father Matthias, Basil Stag Hare, and Jess have to go and rescue them. While being a slave, Mattimeo becomes a true warrior.
I like this book a lot because it has fun adventure, and it is one of my favorite books because it has good and fun parts and really exciting spots. I recommend you to read this book!!

Summary: Mattimeo Rules!
Review: I like Mattimeo because the bad guys are awesome! It is a breathtaking book because people fall down pits, the earth shakes, and the kingdom blows up.
I would recommend this book highly because it is an action-filled book.

Summary: One of THE BEST Redwall books - a gret introduction to wicca
Review: After Slagar drugs the redwallers and steals their children (albeit to get his revenge on Matthias), Matthias and some of the other parent animals go on a mission to get their kids back, and face a lot of unique perils along the way, and unravel the mystery behind a lost abbey and a frightening Emperor. Next to Redwall itself, this is my favourite book!

Summary: The epic that should put tears to your eyes and heart
Review: this novel of redwall indeed has ups and downs. it is by far one of the darker stories in the redwall volumes, thrusting out deaths here and there of some of the most lovable characters. i seriously do not think this book is one of the best redwall creation, and doubt it would be on the top five redwall books. anyways, it has two plots underway (giving it a sourceful taste in adventure), one of slager the cruel, and one of general ironbeak. i thought it was very thoughtful of mr. jacques to put a bird villain for once. ironbeak is much more interviewed in point of view, but that is something that i myself would only think. i found one cliche' in the end. i will not tell much about it (to not give away the ending ofcourse), but mr.jacques has a tendency to add a character who kills the villain(s) all of a sudden. i do not find that boring, but i would rather much prefer the character who had been in the book for some time would finish the job, if you know what i mean. this i consider a cliche' cause Mariel of Redwall (a very fine book) also had that cliche' in it, and this time it was both the main villains. and if you have read Marlfox, you too would agree the killer of the main fox (i bet you can guess which one) is also alike this cliche'. i have read every single Redwall books and now know what to expect from them. i used to say it was just cool or i would describe the storyine. i wish to stop that now and put what i really feel about these stories. Redwall is my favourite book. so take it from me, and read Mattimeo, even though it can be very dull at some parts (alot of parts) and it has some flaws, this is a great redwall that enthrales you alot more than some of the newer ones like Marlfox.

Summary: Another 'Swashbuckling' Redwall Tale
Review: A great Redwall book in which evil is lurking around every corner, suspense is at every turn of the page. Even though it is quite a long book; you will gobble it up quickly & want more. A must for any (adult or kid) fantasy reader.

Redwall is my favorite book series and I highly recommend these books for any person; Whether you read it to your child as a bedtime story or for school, during a long weekend, or just for fun on your free time. Kids will love these books, with the different characters and how they act. Each animal in the book has its very own well developed personality, the book comes alive in your imagination!! Summary: Brian Jacques has done it again.
Review: With Mattimeo, Brian Jacques has done it again. He found a wonderfully successful formula with Redwall, and this one is an excellent addition to the series. Once again his descriptions are colorful, well-thought-out and delightful. The story trips along at a satisfying pace. There are no real surprises, but the reader is happy to cheer when the good guys win again. One of Jacques' strongest points is his ability to draw his reader into the story through deft character development and outstanding plot paceing. This book will provide hours of great fun and escape from one's day to day worries. It is one of the standout best of the series. Highly recommended.

Summary: good book
Review: I recommend this book for the ages 13 and up because whoever likes animals may like this book. This book could show by giving people reasons how animals can live in peace in Red Wall Abbey and with no fighting. You could learn from this book how did the young ones survive without eating or drinking anything and they survive. "Come one, spoilt baby, little Abbey pet, what are you going to do now, eh?" Slagar made his friend keep on hitting the young ones. Slagars decides who shall live or who shall die. "Orlando my good friend, the explanation to it all is merely one simple word: Red wall." Matthias meant to come to Red Wall Abbey, and live peacefully with us and your troubles will go away.
