Summary: A thrilling, daring, and exciting book that will pull you in
Review: A wonderful mix of adventure, fun, cleverness, and home come together to create this amazingly well-written story. I enjoyed the style of the book, how Jacques alternated the groups of creatures that he wrote about. This was a thrilling mystery that kept me guessing until the last page. I recomend this story to kids who enjoy reading about animals and who love adventurous stories

Summary: Mattemio, a MUST read
Review: The second I picked up Mattemio, I knew I was going to love it. And I was right, once you start reading it, you're into it.

You may not know this, but Redwall, Mossflower, and Mattemio all go together in a trilogy!! So to fully understand Mattemio, read Redwall, to understand Redwall, read Mossflower. The same characters are in it, such as Log-a-Log, he's in all 3 of them, but dies in Mattemio, I'm not gonna tell you how though.

Like all Redwall books, I strongly reccomend this book. Although it's the longest book there is in the series(at least that I've seen), it's 446 pages of great story!! READ IT!!

Summary: "Mattimeo" is the best book in the universe!
Review: "Mattimeo" is my favorite book in the world! It has adventure, excitement, comedy, fun, and absolutely fantastic characters! Mattimeo is a great, spunky kid, and the others are great, each with thier own defined charachteristics and personalities. The book is magnificent - it's so realistic that I almost forget that they're animals - not people! Slagar is a wonderful villain - and his confrontations with Mattimeo are absolutely fantastic! "Mattimeo" is a book in the time honored tradition of Redwall, brilliantly written by the Redwall master, Brian Jacques

Summary: The Best Yet
Review: Deffinatly a terrific read, this is my favorite book, completing the cycle and still leaving room for more books (like The Pearls of Lutra and Outcast of Redwall). The main and only problem with the book is admitting to yourself that the Redwall series is done after you put down the book. This is all in all my absolute favorite Redwall book (I haven't read Pearls of Lutra yet)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great adventure and imaginative tale.
Review: Mattimeo is a great book because it involved people who think and act like us, but are really animals. It has a great story plot and I really liked how the story fit the poems in the book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to curl up with a good book that will keep you reading

Summary: MATTIMEO SON OF THE GREAT WARRIOR MATTHIAS IS KIDNAPPED BY EVIL FOX SLAGAR.
Review: MATTIMEO SON OF THE GREAT WARRIOR MATTHIAS IS KINDNAPPED ALONG WITH SOME OF HIS FRIENDS BY THE EVIL FOX SLAGAR. EAGER TO GET HIS SON AND THE OTHERS BACK, MATTHIAS TRACKS THE GANG ALONG WITH HIS SQUIRREL FRIEND JESS. ALTHOUGH IT'S A BIG BOOK I THINK IT'S WORTH READING

Summary: Review of Mattimeo (Audio Cassette)
Review: I'm a fan of all Redwall books. I like all of them, and this was no exception. It had great imagery, a twisting plot, unforgettable characters, villianous enemies, and enigmatic riddles. There are few things in this book that I think should be changed. I thought that the ending was rather abrupt, and more of the story was left untold.

I recommend this book to ages 8-14, though some of the younger readers may need some help. (This review is based on both the book and the tape)
