Summary: Anyone that can read should read this.FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
Review: Mattimeo is one of the greatest books I've ever read. Brian Jacques does a fantastic job of writing the Redwall series. I've read all of his books, and my favorites are:Mattimeo(of course!!),Pearls of Lutra, and The Long Patrol. All of these books have sorrow, laughter, and adventure. I've read many series, but I have to admit, this is THE BEST SERIES EVER!!!!!!! When I started reading Mattimeo(this mouse's name comes from Methuselah, an old gate keeper who died in the book, Redwall, Abbot Mortimer, who was the abbot in Redwall, and Martin, his father who is a warrior) I just read and read and read and read. The Redwall series has made my reading and my vocabulary improve. I recommend the Redwall books to anyone that can read!!!!!!

Summary: Another delightful taste of the Redwall Books...
Review: Right when I read the first page, I knew this book was a winner. Humorous, delightful, and fierce characters make the book all the more fun and interesting. My favorite character was Basil Stag Hare. If you are in the age range from 10 to 70, you'll love it, like I did!

Summary: This book is a fantasy/adventure with mice and their friends
Review: I read Matimeo by Brian Jacques. In this book, Slagar the Fox tricks the Redwallers into letting him in their abbey. He puts the adults to sleep and kidnaps the kids. Mathius the Warrior and a few other Redwallers follow the trail. This book, an adventure/fantasy, is great for boys 10-13. The author, Brian Jacques, has two sons and a dog. He lives in Liverpool and writes in the Summer. One reason why readers like this book is it's full of suspense. A really good scene is when they describe a black, blubbery face. Another reason readers like this book is it has a lot of neat battles.

Summary: Brian Jacque's Worst Book Ever!!!
Review: Having said that, let me say that his worst is by no means terrible. It just bored me to death. Now, you can go and write nasty e-mails and whatnot (I hope you have better sense than that) but the book was too long and frankly, a pain to read. I judge Redwall books on the amount of time it takes me to get through them. My average is two to three days. This one took me 2 weeks. It was torture just to get to the next page. Having said that, why 3 stars? Because, although I expect better of Jacques, he is still the master of the animal fantasy, and a witty wordsmith.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A fantasy about animals.
Review: MATTIMEO by Brian Jacques, is a book about some young mice who get kidnapped by a fox and his gang. some Redwall warriors go after the gang to rescue the mice. They follow the fox to an underground kingdom which is ruled by the polecat, Mallkaris. This book, a fantasy, is great for Andy Snyder because he is interested in this series.

The author, Brian Jacques was born in Liverpool, England. When he was twenty one he joined an orchestra, where he played the violin. When he was older he wrote Redwall for blind people. This book was so popular he wrote the whole series.

One reason I like this book is because it is suspenseful when Mathias fights the Wearat and the chapter ends and it doesn't go back to the fight for 4 chapters. A really good scene is when the warriors find the underground land of Mallkaris. Another reason someone would like this book because the action never stops.

Summary: One of the best books I've read!!!
Review: This Book is so good that I read it in two days! It is about a young mouse captured by an evil slave driver. Then his father, Matthias warrior of Redwall, and friend go to get him. I also read Redwall and Martin the Warrior in two days.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Made me want to read the rest of the series!!!
Review: IT is about a young mouse nusance that was captured by slavedrivers And now Mattimeo's family and freinds are going out to save him and the others that were takin

Summary: Another great book.
Review: Mattimeo, in my opinion, has mure more depth than the others in the series. The animal characters are as real as people, which is what makes these books so fasacinating. This story is, again in my opinion, the most dramatic in the series. However, I havent read them all. Some people may consider it overlong, but I think that's a positive thing. It's opressive when good books end too soon. It's more than worth your while to read it, so do!

Summary: Nearly My Favorite
Review: Make sure you read this book! It's one of his absolute best and one of my favourites for sure! I Brian is as descriptive as always, employs a wonderful plot, and introduces a few more lovable characters. He's done it again. You must read this!! :)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best!
Review: This book was nice and long with WONDERFUL plots and characters! I would recommend reading this after Redwall or Mossflower! It certainly ranks up there in 3rd or 4th place!
