Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Really Great Book
Review: I highly recomend this book for advanced readers and young adults. It is full of adventure, fantasy and romance.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Mattimeo is another hit for Jacques
Review: Mattimeo is as compelling as Redwall with even more interesting and evil characters. Many of the characters are interesting because of their animal strengths but they still use weapons and other things also used by humans.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Read Redwall first for maximum enjoyment
Review: I suppose Redwall and Mattimeo could simply be one massive book other than the fact that there is one year's difference between the stories within them. After reading Redwall, I decided to read its sequel Mattimeo, which turned out to be even better. As if that's possible. There can't be a word Brian Jacques doesn't know, he richly uses the English language (not abuses it, like Eminem). There's nothing left to say other than you ought to read Redwall first.

Summary: This book is awesome!!!
Review: I think that Mattimeo is the best out of the Redwall series. But to understand it, you'd have to read Redwall first. I liked the action and adventure that Mattimeo has. It's funny, suspenseful, and it is my favorite book. This book is a must read.

Summary: Jacques does it again!
Review: Mattimeo is just as good as Redwall, if not better. You become pulled inside the story, and get to know the characters on a personal level. From Sam Squirrel to Orlando the Axe, the character cast includes most of the original Redwall characters, plus some new ones who fit right in with the Redwall crowd. As the final book in the Redwall trilogy, Mattimeo is an exciting and touching book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thrilling to the core!!!!
Review: Brian Jacques is a execellent author and demonstrates that through this book. It has a strong message about the strength and spirit of children. In many of his other books that is also present because he always spend time stressing the fact that the "adults" do not want them to go on any adventure. It also has that wonderful bond of parent and child love.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I've read Mattimeo more times than I can Count!
Review: After reading some of the other reviews on Mattimeo from Amazon.com,I got the impression that many people thought this book was either too long or dragged on to much. However,I think it had the right length to be very enjoyable. From the begenning I wondered who Mattimeo would turn out to be and how he got there, probably because he was such a spoiled brat in the begginning. But as usual,Brian Jaques saved the day by transforming a pampered son of a warrior into a warrior. I think that the life of the inhabitants of Redwall Abbey between the books Mattimeo and The Pearls of Lutra would be an awsome sequel to Mattimeo and sort of a biography/story about how the child of Tess and Mattimeo,Martin, grew up.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It show's a fathers love for his son, that's what I like!!
Review: Take a normal book, what is it about? Murder? theft? But this book is different. Sure it has kidnapping and slavery in it but this book isn't as gruesome as others. This book shows how much Matthias loved his son and didn't want him in any kind of harm or danger. I gave this book 5 stars for ability to show how much most of our parents care for us. This book is in a tie for third place with Redwall. Sasha Ann Scott, age 11

Summary: Best Book i Have ever read
Review: Mattimeo is one of Brian Jacques's best I have read it is a tail of war and a tail of peace. You must read it. Should be a #1 bestseller.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent book - you must read it.
Review: I think that this is a very good book because it ties in with Redwall. It ties into Redwall when it talks about what happens to Chickenhound from where his adventures leave off in Redwall. The epilouge tells a lot and is quite surprising. It will lead you to Pearls of Lutra, the next in the series. Some people think that it is boring and drags on but a lot happens. It has a weird introduction but you understand it later. At first I didn't understand the map but now it makes sense. I think this is a good book and you should read it!!
