Rating: Summary: THIS IS A MUST READ FOR ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: This is my favorite book in the Time Quartet series. It takes sci-fi fantasy, and the powers of GOD and blends them together beautifully. I don't really see why people think that the Time Quatet books are so hard for kids! I mean, I'm 11 and I understand the books completely. I guess it's just the grown-ups that don't understand them because they haven't had to use their imaginations for a long time. This book is also jammed pack with Irish and British stuff. It's really cool! I especially liked the Irish poem! This is a really cool book!
Rating: Summary: I loved this series it is terific and very belevible Review: I love this series, it is terific although you may not be able to comprehend it correctly. but that is ok you will love the book any way
Rating: Summary: This book is for you no matter how old you are Review: "A Swiftly Telting Planet" is a perfect blend of science fiction and a fairy tale. If you liked "A Whinkle in Time," you'll be bound to love this book. A 12-year-old-boy and an unicorn travels to different times in the past to try to change the fate of earth being blown up by an atomic bomb.
Rating: Summary: I thought this book is the greatest I've ever read! Review: this book is so wonderful for people of all ages. The plot is wonderful and imaginatiave, the characters are so loveable and like all of L'Engle's books, it has a rare blend of science fiction and the real world. a must read for everyone who likes a book that makes them think and appreciate our world.
Rating: Summary: Never too old for this book Review: I first read L'Engle's books when I was 10 years old and this is clearly the finest work. Ever since that first reading, I have picked up the book once a year to revisit Meg and Charles Wallace -- you could say that I'm pretty familliar with "Planet", as I'm 25 years of age! Whenever I enumerate my top reads, "A Swiftly Tilting Planet" is always on the list, nestled between Shakesperian plays and Greek tragedies. Odd? No, "Planet" is epic.
Rating: Summary: I did not really like the book. Review: This book is to confusing for a 10-12 year old or anyone older for that matter. The WHEN is constantly changing and there are over 20 characters. Things like Might-Have-Beens or Projections are to confusing.
Rating: Summary: I love this book!!! Review: I have read this book so many times! It is soooo good! There is so much thinking, connecting, and such, it will make your head spin! Take it from me, This is a great kid's book. I should know. I'm 12.
Rating: Summary: GOTTA READ THIS ONE Review: This is my favorite murrys(A wrinkle in time) book. It was really cool following Charles Wallace through time. A GREAT combination of historical fact and fiction.
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: This was one of my favorite books. It was very exciting and fun to read it was hard to put down.
Rating: Summary: Awesome book!!!!!! Review: This book is awesome. It intertwines history with science fiction. It leaves the reader off of her seat trying to figure out what happens next. The book has an excellent story line!!! Reviewed by a seventh grader in Colorado
