Summary: The Bridget Jones for teenage girls, but way more hilarious!
Review: I'm an adult female who reads absolutely everything, and I picked up this book because of it's unusual title. I started reading and it was so laugh out loud hilarious that I bought it on the spot; I couldn't help it. I could not imagine leaving the store without it. I am now passing it on to friends so that they might enjoy it. The book is very reminiscent of Bridget Jones Diary, but is far more funny and the main character is more likeable. The author uses the most unusual words and provides an also funny glossary of them in the back. Basically, it's a year's worth diary of a 14 year old girl in Britain and her quirky viewpoint of the world (including her parents). The descriptions are hilarious and I highly recommend it to kids and adults alike. It's a don't miss! I don't see how this book can do anything but sell like hotcakes as soon as word spreads.

Summary: A Hillarious Book for All Ages.
Review: This book was so funny. Even the annotations made me laugh. I love opening a book and not having to put much thought into what I am reading-this book did exactly that. The author's British background gave a sort of edge to the book that we rarely see here in the states. All of the mishaps of Geaorgia made my nightly reading time fun-and I am 16. This is a great book for anyone who loves to laugh!

Summary: Relatable British Humor
Review: Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging is the first diary installment from high schooler Georgia Nicolson. Although she lives in England, no worries - there's a glossary in the back of the book to fix any language confusions.

From Georgia's diary, we learn of her cat, Angus. "I should have realized not all was right in the cat department when I picked him up and he started salvaging my cardigan," Georgia writes. Angus's hobbies include irritating Mr. and Mrs. Next Door, as well as their cat, who mid-novel, goes MIA.

Georgia has typical teenage girl worries about boys and bras and kissing. Her wry humor make her the young Bridget Jones of our YA generation. Still, I never really felt like I got to know Georgia or her very best friend, Jas. The story is humorous and fluffy, a light read - I'm reading more Georgia diaries in order to get to know and understand her a little better - though from what I do know, she seems like the average girl, just a bit more witty and wryly hilarious than the average 14 year-old. Rennison's humor is what made this book more enjoyable and I hope the other books in the series are just as funny. I burst out laughing aloud a few times during the course of Angus, Thongs... As for the character development...hmmm. I'm a little iffy about that. But what Angus, Thongs... has is raw humor and sometimes that's just what I need to give me a lift.

Summary: WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS??
Review: This book kept popping up on my recommended list and on the lists of people whose selections I admired but something about the title or the cover put me off. I finally picked it up off my friends shelf the other day and started it and I didn't put it down until I had finished it.
It is the funniest book I have ever read. I NEVER laugh out loud when I read and this book constantly had me bursting out. I read the whole thing with a smile on my face and absolutely fell in love with Georgia.
This is an amazing first novel and the writing literally sparkles off the page. I am hooked and will pass it on to many friends.

Summary: What is going on here?
Review: This book has no plot whatsoever. It starts off with an event that has nothing to do with the rest of the story, and the rest of the story consists of Georgia stalking boys, stalking boys' girlfriends and seeing them naked, and generally acting like a "prat." This reminds me of one of those stupid books written by US authors trying to sound British. (Yes, I am fully aware of Louise Rennison's nationality.)

For a better time than this book, try walking across a floor covered in slugs and cockroaches.

Summary: Book Review for Mr. Felt
Review: Georgia Nicolson has six things very wrong with her life:

1) She has one of those under the skin spots that will never come to a head but lurk in a red way for the next two years.

2) This spot is on her nose.

3) She has a three year old sister who may have peed somewhere in her room.

4) In fourteen days the summer break will be over and then it will be back to school and being stuck with a bunch of sadistic loonies (teachers).

5) She is very ugly and needs to go into an ugly home.

6) Georgia went to a party dressed as a stuffed olive.

Georgia also has a crazy cat the size of a small Labrador who tends to attack Georgia's tights and is trying to kill the next-door neighbor's poodle, an embarrassing family, and is in love with a Sex God.

Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging is one of the funniest books I have ever read. Georgia is extremely honest in all of her thoughts, and manages to make everything funny. She has outrageous adventures as she struggles to get through the year, such as shaving off her eyebrows (accidentally), dressing up as a stuffed olive for a costume party, and taking professional "snogging" lessons. Georgia explains everything in a way that you feel as if you were there and makes even the most serious matters seem laugh-out-loud funny.
In this book, the characters are all very realistic. Within the first few diary entries you fell as if you know exactly who Georgia Nicolson is, and you get to know the various characters, such as Georgia's best friend, Jas, the Sex God, Robbie, and her mother and father very well. When I was reading this, I felt as if the characters were people who I might pass on my way down the street! The author of Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging did a very good job at characterization.
I loved the language in this book. It was written with British terms and words, including snogging (kissing) and fringe (bangs). In the back of the book, Georgia has provided "Georgia's Glossary" so that "American-type people" know what is going on in the book. For me, the British language and humor made the book even more hilarious.
Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging is definitely a book for every teenage girl! Laugh-out-loud funny, entertaining, and wonderfully written, Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging is a must-read book!

Summary: What a teenage lifestyle
Review:
Georgia Nicolson has a crazy cat that tends the shed round the whole house, and has embarrassing parents who just makes her feel as if she just has to get out and leave. Georgia lives a life that everyday she has a new story to tell in her journal. So many incidents happen to her just as the same way Bridget Jones acted in her movie, but Georgia is just a younger version. In her diary, all she writes about is basically all the embarrassing moments she had out in public or at home. As she tells her stories day by day it all gets better and better.

The author, Louise Rennison, is a wonderful author as well as a comedian. She makes you imagine how Georgia lives her life on a daily basis, and it just feels as if you're an audience right there to very every incident. I thought the book was well written. I haven't really read a book in a journal format, and I think this one was really good. If anyone has the chance to read this I would fully recommend this novel to you if you really enjoy comedy.

Summary: teenage girls are so sweet
Review: When i first read this book I was so amazed. I was amazed because the way Louise Rennison wrote it helped me in my life. It helped me because in the book one of the characters is Gorgia. Gorgia is a teenage girl who goes through lots of problems. One of the problems she goes through is with boys. there is one boy that she can't get over. she wants to go out with him SO bad that she stars getting jealous. the boy that she likes is going out with another girl. Gorgia "Hates" this girl. The girl's name is Lindsay. Gorgia is always calling Lindsay names and one inparticular name is she calls her "Wet".
This book will really relate to other peoples lives. This book will help girls to understand boys better. It helps you understand boys better because she tell us how boys react to things and how they do things different. I would recomend this book to teenage girls.
