Summary: Hysterically Funny!
Review: Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging left me laughing for ages unitl there were tears in my eyes. This diary is written by the witty and Brittish Gregoria Nicloson. Gregoria is an average 14-year-old. She complains about her little sister and the peeing incidents, longs for an incredibly hunky older man whom she has nisknamed The Sex God, ponders about her parents Mutti and Vati about wether her dad is really male, speaks French, has troubles with her looks as she needs to go to an Ugly Home, argues with her bestfriend Jas because she goes out with Robbie, and finally explains to Mr. and Mrs. Next Door that Angus, her cat is not going to eat their poodle! What a life!

Summary: A Great book
Review: This is an awesome book for teens. It's hilarious and it's something everyone can relate to. Right now I'm reading the sequel and loaning this one to a friend. I definitely recommend this for EVERYONE to read. :)

Summary: This book had me laughing out loud!
Review: I absolutely love this book. My friend found an excerpt from the sequal and she showed it to me. So i decided to go to the library and see if I could get the first one. I think everygirl should go out and read it. As soon as I finished it I wanted to read it again! Its so funny.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Hilarious, though not a lot of substance
Review: It's true. This is a "laugh-out-loud" book. It's light and fun reading - perfect for summer vacation by the pool (or home sick in bed). I had a ball reading it. It definitely does not have a lot of depth, and the plot is quite predictable (and there's not really a lot of it) but it is fun. If you are looking for a "deep" book, go elsewhere, but if you are looking for something light to take your mind off ... well, anything ... or just to make you giggle, this is definitely it.

The British teenaged-girl vocabulary adds a lot to the book - there's something even more quirky about this girl for the American reader because she keeps saying all these bizarre and funny things (full-frontal snoggging???).

It's a very quick read. Perfect for those of you who have a book report due the day after tomorrow and don't want to lose too much of your free time (or brain cells) reading the book! (or for those of us who just to take a break from heavy reading and have a giggle-fest).

Summary: A quick, enjoyable, funny read
Review: I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would - it took me back to the days of my teens when I was reading The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole. There were moments when I was laughing so hard I had to put the book down. It's not deep, and it's certainly not a positive view of a teenage girl, but so what? There are plenty of books out there that fill those requirements. This is light and funny, and I am sure most girls (including girls my age, who have not seen their teen years for quite some time!) can relate to parts of it. One quibble though - the three year old sister did not ring true - does Louise Rennison know any three year olds? Most of them do not wear nappies, nor do they babble in baby talk. A minor issue - I will certainly be reading the sequel.

Summary: Great book
Review: I loved this book. It was hilarious. You can totally relate to Georiga. All of my firends read this book and loved it as well. She has the thoughts all teenagers have. I don't think the book could have been any better. I am in the middle of reading the sequal, On the Bright Side I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God, which is just as good so far.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Louise Rennison is A Genius!
Review: This book is hilarious! I honestly have never read anything more comedic than "Angus". Georgia has an awful time and the reader is better off for it. From her party outfit (she went as a stuffed olive)to her "lesbian" teacher, Miss Stamp, to her tennis victory ( she was disqualified when she accidently knocked a teacher out with her racket) to her nicknames for people (Slim for an overweight teacher, etc, etc.) to her crusade for stopping berets to her experience dying her hair... this book is never without a hilarious problem for its heroine to solve.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Double Cool with Knobs
Review: This book is a definite must read! It's funny, but only intended for mature readers.

Summary: Laughing Out Loud
Review: When this book was suggested by fellow book club members I took their recommendations to heart despite the fact that I am old enough to be a grandmother. I was not disappointed!

We follow Georgia's antics via her daily diary on a laughing out loud journey through life. Angus, her mixed breed cat and a three year old baby sister add a delightful mix to the story. Makeup, boys, talking on the phone, worrying about the state of her ever changing body; all made me realise how little some things change even after 40 years!

A must read even for adults.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: INCREDIBLY, HILARIOUSLY, LAUGH-OUT-LOUD FUNNY!!!!!
Review: This is definitely on my Top 5 favourite books list, right near (if not at) the top. You've got to love Georgia. She's awesome and so funny and so cool! I'm English too, so I got most of the jokes about blokes. (Ha ha.) READ this book. READ this book a million times, and I promise you you will never stop laughing.
