Summary: Very Funny!!!
Review: This is a book all girls must read! My copy of the book has been passed around all of my friends and each of them loved it. One even read the whole entire thing in a night. It makes you keep wanting to read the book to see what other messes Georgia is going to get herself into. Georgia, the main character, has a funny personality which makes the book very very interesting to read.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read!
Review: I have read this book at least 5 times, and every time I read it, it's as though I have never read it before. Georgia battles with her parents, and whether or not the fact that she can't get a guy means that she is a lesbian. She has shaved off her eyebrows, and she is bullied around by her 3-year-old sister Libby, who may have peed somewhere in Georgia's room. Whether she is stalking "Wet Lindsay," she's keeping her crazed cat Angus away from Mr. and Mrs. Next Door's pet poodles, or she is taking lessons from a "bloke" who gives "snogging lessons," Georgia Nicolson is laugh-out-loud funny! The glossary is very helpful, especially for a person who didn't know what a prat is, but supposedly everyone who wears a beret is one.

Summary: Funny and Witty! A funny read, but not for your 10 year old.
Review: I found this book and the sequal to be hilarious, but beyond the mind of a 10 year old. If you don't let your kids watch PG-13 movies, don't let them read this. Anyway, enough of that. This was my fav book of all time!:) Georgia is a nervous, self-absorbed teen who likes nothing better then to reel the boys in! 1 by 1 the come, and 1 by 1 they leave. Find out how this 14 year-old girl can date and french and 17 year old guy!;)

Summary: A Very Funny read¿ at any age!
Review: I don't think I would have ever found this book, let alone picked it up had it not been for several members of my online book club. Georgia Nicolson is a delightful character, who takes us along for quite a ride in her personal journal. This book can easily be likened to a "Bridget Jones' Diary" for teenage girls.

I found myself laughing out loud many times throughout the book... I'm sure as adults we can all remember back to our early teenage years when we thought our parents were so embarrassing. Reading what Georgia thought was reminiscent of how I felt at her age. Rennison does an excellent job of writing with all the angst of a teenage girl. Her description of thong underwear and the point of them had me in hysterics!

I am greatly looking forward to reading "On The Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God!" Rennison is definitely an author to be watched!

Summary: spectacularly silly
Review: This book was an excellent account of a young girl's woes and joys. Being a girl who once kept a diary around her age I was taken back to those few years ago when crushes and avoiding parents were of utmost importance in my life. This book captures the egocentrism of youth and was both a positive account of life at this age and positively hilarious. I was laughing out loud at the creativity in it.

Summary: So funny

Summary: endlessly amusing
Review: Sure, there's not much of a plot. True, the characters are boy-crazy, flakey, and obnoxious. But it doesn't matter, because they're British. It's the story of a young British girl barreling through teenage-hood and all the trials that come with it: gorgeous older guys, make-out lessons, and parental anguish. All of this would make Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging nothing but standard young-adult fare, but the author's humorous take on every subject from eyebrow plucking to insane cats sends this novel above and beyond most similar novels. I enjoyed reading about Georgia's escapades and was never bored with the fun, quirky descriptions of characters and situations. This is a funny and lighthearted novel that I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun and quick read.

Summary: as boring as bridget
Review: get over the im-so-fat-&-ugly-&-i-need-a-man genre. here we have the younger version. the backlash is over grrrrrrrrls. lets stop hiding behind our superficiality and move on to real issues. if you have to read a book from this genre, read girls' guide to hunting & fishing. at least the narrator has an iota of a brain & isnt afraid to show it. what are they teaching those brits, anyway?

Summary: Absolutely a MUST read!
Review: I can not praise this book enough. What a hilarious read. I read it all in one day. I simply could not put it down. One laugh after another, and the end had me in tears. What a terrific book.

Summary: Double Cool with knobs!
Review: I got this book, as a do many others because of the title and the cover. They both intregued me. And well the intrugue didn't stop there! This book is full of surprises. As Georgia, the main character would say, the book was "Double cool with knobs!" If you are not English and don't get most of the slang in this book it is ok! The wonderful creator of this book Louise Rennison, kindly puts a Glossary in the back of the book to explain most of the unfamiliar words. Altogether this book was awsome. I read it in about 4 hours. Not that it's small. But you will deffinatly not be able to put it down. Terrific Summer reading, and as Seventeen Magizine said, "Not something that you would want to read in public!" Trust me, you'll be laughing too hard. Worth the investment! 110%
