Summary: Wow... I was impressed
Review: This book and it's sequel were wonderfully written. The story is in the style of the diary of a quirky 14 year old english girl. She has to deal with a normal teenager's problems, ranging from boys, to friends, to parents and so forth. When I picked up this book I expected a a boring account of an english girls life. Instead I got was a beautifully crafted tale filled with humorous events and incredibly amusing slang. This is a great read for kids aged pre-teen all the way up to those who are kid at heart. A must read

Summary: sure, it was hilarious, but...
Review: all my friends LOVED this book, and ya, it was really funny (so much that i nearly fell off the sofa), but other than that, it was pretty stupid. it's the kind of book that you sort of have to read all in one sitting (which i did). there's nothing special about it. Georgia is an airhead (sorry to all of her fans) and really mean to her parents (especially her dad :( ) as well as to anybody she thinks inferior to her. i have read MUCH MUCH better books than this one, and trust me, i've read A LOT of books. if you're looking for a light, funny book, whatever, go ahead. but i would get it from the library. i almost bought it, but instead borrowed it from somebody, and a good thing i did, b/c i would never read it again. there's no point. don't waste your money.

when i was finished, i remembered how everyone had said it was the best book they'd ever read, and i wondered, what books HAD they ever read to think this was the best!!?? geeezz...

Summary: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging
Review: This is an incredibly funny book! It is the perfect book for teenage girls who loves girl talk. This is a book of Georgia's diary. It contains all of her friends, fantasies, and relationships. It is probably the story of every girls life. It remindes me of the talks me and my friends have at sleepovers and just when we are hanging out. There is always alot of laughs and fun. The things Georgia and her friends talk about are actually true. Having the painters in and snogging are things girls can't stop talking about. I loved the way she put words to mean other things like,"hows your father", jimjams, loo, naff, bloke, bangers, and having the painters in. It was a very good and hilarious book and I would recomend it to anyone!

Summary: Actually, I gove this book a 3.5
Review: This is a very entertaining book in the vein of Bridget Jones' Diary. The main character, Georgia, is delightfully witty and funny.
Enjoy this for what it is--light breezy fun... nothing more, nothing less--and you won't be disappointed.

Summary: Erika's Book Review
Review: After reading the novel, Angus, thongs, and full-frontal snogging: Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, by Louise Rennison, I was greatly impressed. This fictional novel takes us on a journey through a 14 year-old girl's school year. The main character Georgia Nicolson, often referred to as "Georgie", keeps us (the readers) very entertained through out the novel. She is a typical, dramatic, superficial, teenage girl. The story also includes her first crush. Also known as the "sex god", Robbie is definately a main part of the plot. The novel is written in a "diary form." I enjoy reading novels in this form because i find it easier to read. The author, Louise Rennison, uses brittish slang in her writing which makes the novel even more interesting to read. I enjoyed reading this catchy-titled book. I would suggest it to any girl of all ages.

Summary: Anyone and everyone should read this book
Review: The book "Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging" was a fabulous book written by Louise Rennison.

It's about a 13 year old girl who dosen't fit in with"the cool crowd".The whole book she is trying to impress a guy who she calls "the sex god". She does extremely dumb inmature things. For example she tries to pluck her eyebrows she shaves them all off! She does other really silly things through the book. There is much, much more to this book but I don't want to give anything away!

I think you should definitely pick up & start reading this book. As Soon As Possible!

Summary: Georgia is not my idea of a role model
Review: I am a parent and a high school teacher. I read this book before giving it to a favorite teenager of mine. I threw it out after reading it. Georgia is self-centered, self-absorbed, shallow, without ambitions or dreams, and flighty. She is mean to other girls who she deems worthy of being picked upon. She is willing to be a complete fool for a boy. She has no dreams or ambitions beyond kissing a boy that she has her eyes on. And she is a disrespectful brat to all adults in her life. It is discouraging that this book is touted as a book girls can relate to. I think girls are much more complicated and capable than the foolish protagonist of this book.
