Rating: Summary: Great Book!!! Review: This, along with her next book are awesome. They tell the story of a great character, her great cat, neighbors, sister, parents, friends, and teachers. The characters are so real and you can connect with each of the stories within the book. I think that they are quick reads since they are written in journal form, which is also enjoyable. I also like the glossary in the back to help you out with all the England slang. Very cute books, highly suggested.
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: This is a really good and well written book. Some of the situations many teens today find themselves stuck in today! It is a good and easy read great, the perfect summer read! This is a Bridget Jones' Diary for the younger set!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Humoristic Book Review: I just started reading this book a couple days ago, and I love it to death!! I have had a very hard time not laughing out loud because I would disturb others. I own all three of her books, and i can't wait to read them all!! I would really recomend these books to people who like humor. It is about a teenage girl and her not so perfect life. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!! READ IT!!
Rating: Summary: The best book for teen girls Review: I was very impressed when I started reading this book. Now-a-days teen girls are a lot more mature than adults think. That is why it is funny to see adults try to write like a teen about things like holding hands! I was very surprised about how well Louise Rennison wrote, especially how she came up with her fantastic main character, Georgia Nicolson. She, unlike most writters didn't sadly attempt to wrote about holding hands or ...puppy love. More like kissing, boob fondling and more. The best part about the book is the main character, Georgia Nicolson. The great part about her is her many flaws. Like her huge nose, and terribly annoying family. In This diary she talks about many weird teen things that make you say "I thought I was the only one." Another fun thing about the book is the vocabulary and how there is a glossary in the back. Louise Rennison has come up with an extrodenarily genuine book. the only bad thing is that there are only going to be 4 books! After reading the books I don't know what I could read that would be half as good.
Rating: Summary: You'll Laugh your Arse off... Review: AT&FFS is one of the funniest books I have ever read. The story follows the life of Georgia Nicolson, an average teenage girl growing up in England and encountering one embarassing yet hilarious ordeal after another. The book touches on the topics of friendships, boys, beauty dilemmas, family problems, and many other topics that most teenage girls could easily relate to. Even though the book has a lot of British slang and such in it, there is a handy little glossary in the back that gives humorous explanation to words you might not understand. Plus, you can say after you read the glossary that you were educated in British slang and confuse your friends by using some of the words, like I enjoy doing. This is truly a great book and make sure you check out the rest of the series of Georgia books, which are as funny, if not even funnier than this one. Like my review title states, you'll definately be laughing out loud during this one.
Rating: Summary: Great Beginning to a great series! Review: This is a great story, I loved it more than the Princess Diaries. To tell you the truth, it was more funnier. Georgia Nicholson is a great main character that many can relate to. Many are turned off by the title, but the book itself is really good!! Everyone should read it, and the sequels to!
Rating: Summary: must read Review: Angus thongs and full frontal snogging is a must read for girls ages 12 and up. It's filled with humor and scenes that leave you laughing for hours. The brittish vocab and glossery make the book even better. Even though your just the reader, rennison pulls you in.this might sound bassare/ corny but you really begin to think that you are Gorgia's best friend and she is dishing out juicy gossip and talking about how far she went with her bf. All in all no teen girl should be with out it .
Rating: Summary: Horrid Review: yes it started out hilarious and yes I did at first review it as very funny. The only reason I'm changing my review is because after reading the second and third and fourth books, something struck me. These were awful. Georgia is SELFISH as anything, ANNOYING as anything else, and STUPIDER than she is either of the former. She's got so many problems and all she does is rant. Yes. I know. She's the main character. The reason i can't stand her is because at 9:00 in the morning when no one has called she moans about how she has no friends. And then someone calls. and then in another scenario, the same thing happens. Moan, things work out. She's an idiot.
Rating: Summary: Funny and quick! Great to pass the time! Review: This was a hilariously funny book! My boyfriend couldn't even resist the comic potential as shown on the cover and back and needless to say, neither of us were disappointed. My boyfriend laughed for days! I highly reccomend this book. I'm sure it's two sequels are just as pleasing as well.
Rating: Summary: Fun Fun Fun! Review: This book perfectly captures being a teenager. It's fun and hilarious and will have you turning the pages until it's done.
