Rating: Summary: Not What I Expected Review: This book does not live up to its reviews. From what I had heard, it is supposedly a great book for girls age 12-16, but fairly disappointing if you ask me! If you want to read it I would advise renting it from a library instead of buying it as it is not worth your money.Hopefully the sequel will be better.
Rating: Summary: Amusing from beginning to end! Review: I started reading this book a long time ago and I couldn't put it down! within a day, I read over 100 pages. I finished it in 3 days, but I had things to do! Written in diary form, Georgia tells of her life in a town in England ... Though there were some mistakes in the book, it was still enjoyable! Filled with humor, truth, shopping trips and good ol' laughs, Angus, thongs and FFS is a must read. Hey, if you're American/Canadian (like me) you could learn lotsa British slang! (yeah, Canadian's get the glossary in the back, but it says 'American chums,' not Canadian chums!) Read it, you'll be glad you did! It deserves that award it got!For the mistakes (yeah, I do notice them!) it said Sven was Danish, then it says he's Swedish, but that didn't mar the humour!
Rating: Summary: This book is great! Review: When I first got this book, I didnt think it would be that good, but after I started reading it, I couldnt put it down. It is really funny! You wont be able to wait to read: On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girfriend of a Sex God and Knocked Out by my Nunga-Nunga's. :)
Rating: Summary: Witty, Fun, &, All Around Girly! Review: What a hillarious book! Funny, and all around girly! I suggest this book if are a girly girl, if you like a good laugh, and if you feel like you have the worst parents! I dont suggest this book if you are not a girly girl, if you are below age 13, and if you hate comedy. This book is rated PG-13 for sexuality, and language
Rating: Summary: THE most funniest book I've ever read.. Review: If you liked Bridget Jone's Diary, you'll defintely love this book! My friend gave it to me for my birthday, and at first, I didn't feel like reading it, but when I did start reading it, I got hooked! The title may sound wrong, but it's an excellent book! It's also another one of those books you might not want to read in public...but if you ever do, be prepared when eyes start staring at the cover ^__^;
Rating: Summary: Brilliant, funny book for any teen! Review: This is the best book I have ever read, not only is it hilariously funny, you can relate to the charecter. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! I suggest ages 12 and up.
Rating: Summary: Don't read this on the bus you will burst with laughter!!!!! Review: This book is hilarious words cannot describe how funny this book is! It has been described as the Bridget Jones for Teenagers but everyone in my family young and old has read this book. It is the diary of a Teenage girl called Georgia Nicholson. The laughs never stop starting with her going to a fancy dressed party dressed as an olive. Doesn't sound funny but Louise Rennison packs in the jokes and turns any possible situation to laughter. Georgia really fancies the sex god but he is dating wet Lindsay and the boy she was going to dump dumps her first! She has a loony family that never stop embrassing her and has to go out non-stop. Another good thing is that Georgia discusses topics that teeangers actually talk about and go into great detail about them such as snogging! Essential in every teenagers life! Also for once the girl isn't a star pupil at school and is always in trouble it is refreshing to have someone who life doesn't turn perfect at the end with a kind teacher at the end. The laughs never stop and my family are sick of me bursting into tears of laughter when I read it. I have read the next three books after this one and I can say the laughs never stop. I would recomend this book to any teenager and people who love a good laugh and remamber what is like to be a teenager
