Review: Have you ever read a book that made you laugh so hard you almost wet your pants? Have you ever hated the way you look? Could you never find a boyfriend and wish you would just die because you are so ugly. Once you start reading this book you can't stop. This is a real page-turner. It makes you turn the pages because Georgia has to make tough decisions .She also does tons of funny and stupid stuff. You would really enjoy this book if you were funny. Also if you enjoy humor. This genre is really good. I really enjoyed all the hilarious stuff she did. This book is about a girl growing up and her teen years. She thinks she is so ugly. By the end of the book she finds out she has to move. She is very upset. She is going to miss her friends a lot. Her friends get her tons of gifts and presents. But at the end of the book she decides to pack. She maybe upset with her parents but it is ok. If you want to find out more read Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging.

Summary: Hah! Finally, the truth about girls (just kidding)
Review: Georgina's life and her ridiculously insane comments about it are hysterical. Her cat is my hero - cuz he's a vicious brute ...He he. The poodle next-door is "prey". Georgina doesn't take much c--p either! She's hip, sassy and her brit-talk is a riot... her kind explanations for "american type buddies" is even funnier! Read this if you desperately need to know the differences between prats, oiks and tossers. Hell's teeth, your life may never be the same! (loses one star for being just a little _too_ silly)

Summary: The best book ever!!!!!
Review: I always hated reading, i thought it was just easier to watch tv, until i saw a girl in my biology class reading this book, and i just read along behing her. so i bought the book my self and finished it in 3 days. i swear u CANNOT put this book down. i loved it because it really explains the troubles teens (we) have to go through everyday. Georgia has the best personality. She is so crazy and wacky, and the best part is she is just like a normal teenage girl with guy trouble, friend trouble, and family trouble. And the way her cat acts is hillarious!
so to sum it up, this book is great for any age, esspecially for thoughs who dont like to read, even thoughs who do.

Summary: Cute book
Review: The title almost turned me away from this book, and I wondered how anything with such a stupid-sounding title could be any good. Actually, it was quite good. It sort of reminded me of a "Bridget Jones's Diary" for the teenage set. I found myself laughing out loud at times.

Angus the cat's antics are amusing (although worrisome for any owners of poodles), Libby is charming (even though she smells like a hamster), and Georgia is a fun heroine whom you'll want to follow throughout her year at school.

Luckily for us North Americans, a glossary has been provided so that we know what those strange British slang terms (like "double cool with knobs" and "nuddy-pants") mean.

Summary: Cute, but you can do better...
Review: Try more grownup authors, like Carl hiaason, Louis Sachar, Susanna Vance, Neil Gaimen. You're ready.

Summary: this book took my attention and kept it for a bit
Review: This book is by louise Rennison and is a comedic fiction.
The main themes of this book were mostly fashion related, school was also a focal issue in this book. Through out the story Georgina our main character is battling with her parents and hating and loving her baby sister. The book is written like a journal with the time and date at each entry. In this book Georgina finds her self in all kinds of bad situations and some how manages to get out of them. Through out the story Georgina wants to become more of a woman and thinks that her parents and schoolmates should treat her more life one. All along the story she is also dealing with boys, parties and above all her huge nose. In this book there are neither villains nor heroes but there are some very hated people in Georgina's life so there fore are the readers enemies too. I think the author does a good job of keeping the attention of the reader through the whole book. At first I thought that this was a girly book (and it is) but it is interesting. I have to say I wanted to read more at the end, but I am too lazy to go out and buy one of her books so I think that I would recommend this book to others. But if you get board right away you might not what to read the rest because the first chapter of the book sets the mood for the rest of the book. In the end this book left me with the impression that some people can make the best of a situation and others cannot. And it's all you look at life if you want to have the best time.

Summary: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging
Review: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, is a great book. The author Louise Rennison lives in Brighton, England, and has two pets, Finn and Bjork, who are goldfish. This novel is a marvelous fictional comedy about Georgia Nicolson's life.
Georgia is a teenage girl who is struggling with her appearance, thoughts about boys, her insane family and friends. However, it is not a depressing book at all. The only problems she has with her appearance are about the size of her nose and eyebrows. I think she is just confused about the rest of her life.
The story is set in England and is told in the form of a diary, that belongs to Georgia. During the story she falls in love with "the Sex God," who's name I wont mention, however, it turns out he has a girlfriend. As always Georia's best friend Jas helps her through her grief.
Even though this book is filled with emotions, good and bad, Louise Rennison makes it hysterical by mixing in stories of Libby's (Gergia's little sister) "exploding diapers." Over all I enjoyed this novel, and since it was so good I read the sequel! This story is definately geared towards girls though, because i think we can relate in a lot of ways.
