Rating: Summary: Absolutelly perfect Review: I've read this book two years ago and it becames one of my favorite books. When I am depressed, I read this book and it always make me laugh. I wish I had all diaries of Adrian Mole. British sense of humour is very special and I love it.
Rating: Summary: Adrian Mole a dead hilarious chap Review: This book was excellent. Had me rolling on the floor in laughter over the pains and tribulations of a young English boy
Rating: Summary: I loved this book. Review: I can't wait till Sue Townsend finishes writing Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years. I'm dieing to know what has happen to dear Adrian. I always laugh out loud when I read the diary books.
Rating: Summary: Excellent and Realistic Review: I received this book as a Christmas present from a friend in South Africa, and made the grave mistake of reading it after taking a midterm exam at school. I was removed from the room because my laughter was interrupting the other test takers! This book really gets into the mind of a teenager who isn't "just like everybody else."
Rating: Summary: Don't read! Hard to swallow Review: This book was so hard to believe, and I'm easy. It's the first book I plan to thorw in the garbage. I thought about writing in the front cover to warn people how bad it is, but then decided against it. It goes nowhere. Why is it a hit?!?!
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Ever!!! Review: I read this book and I got so into it I finished it in two days!!! I recomended it to all my friends. This book brought back memories of my trip to London and how much I loved it! I loved it!!! Everyone should read it!!!
Rating: Summary: Sue Townsend has created a masterpiece!!!! Review: This british author, formerly unknown to me, has gained my respect just by this book. She was able to bring us such a complex and cruel world through the eyes of a very naive teen. Even when your eyes are watering from all the laughter you can still feel saddened by his whole situation. This mixture is pure genious. As the New York time's said: "as sad and devastating as it is laugh out loud funny". I look forward to reading "The Lost Years".
Rating: Summary: The book was drop dead hilarious! Review: The book is perfect for any teen ager, no matter where they are from. It turns what most kids think are the worst things in the world into something even worse. The book's lesson is to not take things you have for granted. The way the author teaches the lesson makes it difficult to read without laughing outloud. As I read this book, I was laughing so hard at one point that I fell off my bed. If you are looking for a good laugh, read this book.
