Summary: Little action but good description and language
Review: Bud, Not Buddy has very little action, although the language was good. I think the best highlight of the book was how Bud was made. I liked the way he talked and what he thought. The plot was very good and the ending was kind of unexpected. I recomend this book to people who don't like action. The story takes place in the 30's during the Depression. I didn't like this book very much. It was boring and not cool.

Summary: run away Bud
Review: Bud, the main character, is an orphan. When his mother was alive, she kept posters of a musician named Herman E. Calloway. Bud thinks this is his father, which he never met. WHen he goes to meet Calloway there was a surprise. It wasnt a very good book and the surprise ending wasn't much of a surprise. Oh well, you might like it.

Summary: A great book for non-stop reading!!!!!
Review: Oh.....What is there to say about this book!?! I loved this book it is awesome!!! Before I started to read it I judged it. I thought I wouldn't, like it but I really did! It is about a boy who is looking for his father, and finds a man named Herman E. Calloway who thinks is his father. You should read it and find out if the man is his father. I also like how he said his name was Bud, NOT BUDDY!! Read this book it is absolutely awesome!

Summary: Bud, not Buddy
Review: Bud, Not Buddy was an ok book. I think it was a little boring in the end how they dragged on and on. I think that Christopher Paul Curtis brought in a lot of characters, but left them behind before we really got to know them and understand them.

Summary: Bud, Not Buddy review
Review: Bud Not Buddy was an interesting book, though if I would be able to choose another book to read, I would not read the book again. I think it is really surprising in some parts, so I think that if I did read it again, it would not be a cliffhanger. This book was great for a project because it was historical fiction. DON'T read this book today! Just kidding, this book was pretty good, just don't read it twice!

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This book was a hard-to-put-down book! "Bud Caldwell's Rules and Things for Having a Funner Life and Making a Better Liar Out of Yourself" was very funny!

Summary: Humor,Not Boring
Review: Bud,Not Buddy is a great book for anyone who likes a humorous book along with a wonderful plot. The book tells the story of a boy named Bud,(not Buddy),on his journey to find his father. Along the way, he experiences many funny events. One time he got his hand caught in a fish-head ornament on a door and thought his hand was going to be eaten off. I would compare this book to Harry Potter books because they also tell the story of a boy going through many different things, and it is also hard to put down. I loved this book because of the humor.

Summary: Bud' Not Buddy
Review: This book was about, Bud who wanted to find his father Herman.E Calloway. He was looking for his father because he had no place to go. He was kicked out of the Amoses because he was being a brat. He was not being a brat the Amoses were mean to him. That is why he is looking for his father.

My favorite part was when Bud Put Tod's finger in the water to make him have a wet bed. It was so funny I was laughing so hard I almost cried. That was my favorite part because it was so funny. It was one of the only funny parts in the book. That was one of my favorite parts.

I like this book because it has a lot of action in it. It puts you on egde of your seat. It really catches someones eye. Like for example, Todd having a wet bed. That had a lot of attention to it. This is the reason why I like this Kind of book.
