Summary: A review of Walk Two Moons
Review: Sal and her grandparents set out on a cross country journey to retrace her mothers footsteps. While on the trip, Sal tells her grandparents about her new best friend Phoebe. Phoebe and Sal have one thing in commen, their mothers have left them. Unlike Phoebe though, Sal's mother will never come back home. This is a wonderful, well written story about a young girl who has to come to terms with her mother's death. We recommend this book for fifth grade and above. Teachers and parents can use Walk Two Moons to promote the study of history, math, science, and the arts.

Summary: Impressive! Please read this review!
Review: I love this heart warming gem! It made me cry, and was eloquontely *sorry! not great at spelling! lol!* written! It had a great message and by the time i was done i wanted to give my mother a big hug! it's a truly wonderful gem in the bunch of so-called 'wonderful' childrens literature. However, my complaint, is that, i am a 12 year old and the way Sharon makes Samantha talk and act and think is NOT the a pre teen or teen thinks. it jjust isnt. It's very old fashioned, and it was hard for me *an upperclass CA, beach chick* to understand this countryside scenario. but, nevertheless, its a great book! you wont regret picking it up!!

Summary: Review of Walk Two Moons
Review: In The book "Walk Two Moons", By Sharon Creech there was young Girl that went by the name of Sal. The whole book is pretty much about her life and the events that happened to her. I thought that the book was actually very good it had many great details and the plot of the story was excellent. It was also well written there was good use of vocabulary and it had many other great qualities.

In the book there was a girl named Salamanca Tree Hiddle also known as Sal. She is a very outgoing girl who currently lost her mother. Her and her grandparents go out on a road trip to go to the same places her mother did when she left. Well they are in the road she starts telling a story about her and her friend phoebe. In this story she meets a lot of characters, one of which is her friends she had met her name was phoebe she had also lost her mother just like Sal did. This whole book is about Sal's life and trying to find her mother. If you want to know the ending then you must read the book.

The story was an excellent book. It had all the good qualities of a good book. The story line was never boring and the book was so well written. I thought the book was well written because it had very good use of vocabulary and I even learned about some new words from the book. I would recommend this book to an audience of 13 years of age or older because it many vocabulary words that I had to look up and the book is pretty easy to understand you just have to be able to think of the book in two different settings.

This book about a girl named Sal is a very magnificent book. The story line in the book was excellent, it kept me into the book and I just couldn't put it down. If you want to figure out the rest of Sal's journey. Read the book I'm sure you'll be amazed just like I was.

Summary: Creech's Walk Two Moons
Review: In the exciting tale of Salmanaca Tree Hiddle, Sharon Creech does an excellent job of portraying the story of this young girl's life. Walk Two Moons is a sincerely touching account of Sal's journey, told in the form of two distinct story lines. Sal's mother leaves her and her father in Bybanks, Kentucky and shortly there after, upon hearing that her mother will not return, Sal's father packs up their belongings and the two move to Euclid, Ohio. Gramps and Grams take Sal on a road trip to go visit her mother, who is in Lewiston, Idaho, for her birthday. On their way, Sal tells them of her adventures with a new friend in Euclid, Phoebe Winterbottom. The two girls act as mini-detectives trying to solve the strange mysteries they encounter together. Between the secret messages left on Phoebe's doorstep, to the lunatic they see in their neighborhood, the girls come to share experiences that impact them in many ways. With stops all along the way, Sal eventually makes it to Lewiston in time for her mother's birthday. Up to this point, Creech leaves many loose ends floating along; finally all the loose ends come together in the end. Sal realizes that through the story of Phoebe, she has learned more about herself and her own story.
Sharon Creech is a talented writer who portrays each character in a precise way. I was most impressed with the realistic description of each character and could see them in my head as I read. They were real people who had real problems that I feel most readers could connect with. The structure of the book is such that it keeps the reader interested and guessing what will happen next. There are many twists and turns in plot. Because of that unique structure, the book is one that readers will not want to put down.

Summary: Walk Two Moons
Review: Sharon Creech is my absolute favorite author. I love all of her books, but this is by far my favorite one. The story is about a little indian girl who is taking a trip with her grandparents to visit her mother. While they are driving, she tells the twisted story of Pheobe, her best friend back home.

Summary: a definetly must read
Review: Sharon Creech is one of my favorite authors out there even though I'm a to be senior when school starts in september of 2003. The way she describes the book is amazing. You are suddenly on the car with Sal on her journey to find her mother. You feel her yearnings of wanting to be with her mother, her first kiss with Ben, her close relationship with her grandparents, and fears of moving and growing up. That road trip she takes with her grandparents is more than just finding her mother; it's an analogy to the road of growing up. As corny as that sounds, it's true. The way Creech describes it in her book allows you, the reader, to identify with her characters. This book is definetly well developed and a must read.

Summary: Salamanca
Review: This book is really great. I love reading it. There is a girl name, Salamanca. Her mother died, from a bus accident. Salamanca was going to visit her grandparents. And her best friend Phoebe Winterbottom . One day there was someone at the door, it was a teenage boy to ask Phoebe if Mrs.Winterbottom was home. She wasn't. Then he left. Later Phoebe's mother was missing. She haven't been seen. Salamanca and Phoebe went to a school, and saw Mrs.Winterbottom with the same boy that was at their house, asking them if she was home. It turns out that the boy was Mrs.Winterbottom's son. So now they are a family of four.
