Rating: Summary: The absolute best book written Review: This book was amazing. It's a mystery with it's own type of suspense. It made the reader really feel for the characters, the way they seemed so realistic. The story was written in such a way that the author was able to tell two different topics in one book. I recomend this book to practically anyone who is willing to give this book a try, you will never put it down.
Rating: Summary: The Solid Truth About "Walk Two Moons" Review: This book was a good example of writing. It is about a girl named Sal, who is taking a car trip with her grandparents to a city in Idaho where her mother lives. Sal's mother left her and her father, so Sal is going to try to get her mother back. Along the way in the car, Sal tells the story of her friend Phoebe who had her mother mysteriously disappear as well. It was written clearly and efficiently, while the author painted the words on the reader's brain. It was written so well, I would have to exceed the word limit of this review if I had wanted to list everything that was wonderful. The characters were great. Sal's predicament of having lost her mother was so clearly felt by the reader, that it was astounding. However, it was odd and just a little bit too coincidental that both Phoebe's mother, and another friend's mother had both disappeared too. Overall, that was the biggest problem with the book. Everything fit together just too well for the story to be realistic. One thing that must be noted is that the good parts were WONDERFUL, but the spotty parts, though few, were real eye-brow raisers. This is so because, as stated before, in the tiny town of Euclid, which has maybe 400- 500 people in it, there are three people whose mothers just disappeared. Now in a city like New York, this could be easily believed, but in 450 people, that's probably not going to happen. Another problem was that the author does not give reasonable image of what Euclid is like. I kept thinking that Euclid was a large city, and kept that image until the author just went out and said that it was small. Time for a good part before this review gets too dark: The car-trip idea keeps this story going along nicely. Gramps and Gram fill this otherwise rather dark story with hope, and humor. In the sad parts, I constantly went back to them and thought of how funny some things they said were. Also, they were accurately portrayed. Instead of having perfectly clean language, they used some mild swearing that gave them more character. One last problem was the author had obviously ran out of ideas at the end, and wanted to end this book as soon as she could. But overall, this was a nice, refreshing book. I don't think I'll look at books by the same standards again, and my perception of car trips will certainly never be the same!
Rating: Summary: This book was VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I thought the book was witty, if you want me to say someting, I say: "Read this book!!!"

Rating: Summary: This was the best book I ever read! Review: This book is about a girl named Salamanca, who's mother left. Sharon Creech tells the story so beautifully, you can almost feel the rocks faling down the canyon, and you can almost hear the drums at the Indian Dance. This book is about a girl trying to find herself, and the strength to face the truth. Salamanca goes on a trip with her stange grandparents, and tells the story of Phoebe Winterbottom. As she tells the story, she realizes that behind Phoebe's story is another one, her own. I would recommmend this book to people of all ages. This is a book I wouldn't mind reading in class!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD! Review: This was my favorite book!!! It has such a good plot and you always wonder what's going to happen next. It is told so well and I've recommended it to all of my friends! It's sad though and I cried a bit because I thought Sal was going to meet her mother and bring her back to Bybanks. I hope they make a movie out of this book because it is soooo good and it would make the box offices overflow! It's good for people around my age (8-11), but anybody can read it and still enjoy it!
Rating: Summary: Magnificent!Creech express true meaning. A real pageturner! Review: A good book for children of ages 8-11. Shows the truth about how hard it is to make new friends, along with some very moderate humor. A book of great quality, and sure to be a classic.
