Rating: Summary: A Wonderful Book Review: I read this book and I loved it! It was all about her and her life. But, at the same time it told another girls story and how mixed up her life was.I really liked this book because it gave you confidence that you are not the only one that has problems out there. This is a great book for a teenage girl and older. I think that if you give it to a girl who is any younger that she will not understand parts of it. This is a wonderful book and if you have read one of Sharon Creech's books before than you will love this one.
Rating: Summary: This is a beautiful, very poetic book Review: I absolutely loved this book! The story is very touching, without being too sentimental, but it still moved me enough to make me want to cry. And it's not just for kids, either. It's good enough to be read by adults, too- my mom read it and enjoyed it after i was done with it. I would recommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Enchanting story! Review: This book is amazing. I recommend this book to anyone who can read! The mezmerizing story of Sal Hiddle is sure to make you laugh and cry. It is most definetly a moving book that anyone will enjoy. Sharon Creech is at her best in this novel where she blends a mix of humor, deep sadness, and the strong bonds of love between family and friends to create a special story about discovering who you are. This book is GGGGGRRRRREEEEEEAAAAATTT!!!
Rating: Summary: you will like it don't miss it Review: I think this was a great book because you never know what is going to happen. It is a little sad in the end but the first part is not. There is a lot of people in the story but it does not seem like it.I have read this book five times. It does not get boring at all to me and I don't know why.
Rating: Summary: An absolutely TERRIFFIC book! A must read! Review: This was one of the best books that I have ever read. It is absolutely teriffic! At age 9, I did not find it very interesting, but now, at age 11, I absolutely LOVE it! I loved the way Ms. Creech introduced the characters, really bringing the character out of Phoebe, Ben, and, of course, Salamanca Tree Hiddle. I like the way the book was written, as a sort of parallel story. Having Phoebe's story in the plot helped me to understand Sal's story, and vice versa. I would reccomend this book to anybody age 10 to 110. It will really make you put yourself in someone else's moccassins!
Rating: Summary: A Great Summer Reading Book! Review: A year ago,I read this book for extra credit. This book is super! The story tells mostly about Sal who tries to entain her grandparents by telling the story of Phoepe Winterbottom's story. While telling the story,Sal's story, which is almost the same, begins to unfold. The story is full of funniness, sorrow, and more to make it a very heart-warming story you will never forget.
Rating: Summary: Meg's Review Review: You have to get it. It is the best book ever written for girls.
Rating: Summary: Too Good To Be True Review: This is one of my favorite books. It's so sad, but so good. I makes you feel really bad because Salamonca ( the main character ) is in denial about a lot of things. Including her mother's death. Throughout the whole book she is telling herself that her mother is lost, that her mother is away. That's what makes it a beauty, until the end she doesnt really believe that her mom will never be coming back to her. She finds friends and love and she finds that it is ok that her mom has left. She gets strength and in the end she realizes that she didnt cause her mom to die, and that she is not going to stop breathing because her mom is gone. This book is the best book I have ever read. It has the same unwavering effect on me everytime i read it and it almost always makes me cry. I love this book!!!
Rating: Summary: must read Review: everything a good book should incompass. it infact made be cry no other book has ever down that to me a touching story . must read!
Rating: Summary: Better than five stars Review: What a relief that I didn't pass by this book because its beginning was a little bit slow. Walk Two Moons has grown to be one of my favorite books. It's a perfect example of a frame story: While she takes a road trip with her grandparents in search of her missing mother, Sal Hill talks about her life alone with her dad and the ever-annoying Margeret Cadaver. Sal also mentions her best friend, Phoebe, and all the strange events that surrounded them while Sal was living with her dad. The book also narrates the road trip. Walk Two Moons is full of surprises and twists, all adding up to an explosive end that was both shocking, and logical.
