Rating: Summary: The Book that made me Think Review: I have to be honest in saying that I was not thrilled at the thought of reading WALK TWO MOONS. But it was assigned to me as summer reading before sixth grade, and I was so suprised at how much I loved it. Author Sharon Creech weaves two stories together that can make the reader both cry and laugh with characters you become friends with as the book moves on. WALK TWO MOONS is truly a book that will make you look back on the unexplained events it holds and find the hidden meanings in them, a book that truly makes you think of the symbols it show. I highly reccomend WALK TWO MOONS, and I hope that you don't make the same mistake that I did of putting off reading it. It really is a book to love for those who want to grasp a woderful young adult novel.

Rating: Summary: Best book I have ever read! Review: I love the book Walk Two Moons. It is about a girl that is on a trip with her grandparents. Her name is Sal.(short for Salamanca) She tells a story about a girl named Phoebe. There is a lot of adventure in the story she tells. The book is kind of confusing, but once you get to the end, you will be able to understand most of it. There are a lot of cool, fun and exciting things in this book. At the part she found out the way her mother died, is kind of sad. I hope you read this book. It is great. You would really enjoy it!! A dedicated reader from the 5th grade
Rating: Summary: Young Walkers Review: Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, was the Newbery Medal winner of 1995. This book is not a challenge of middle level readers, but would be for elementary readers. Sal is a preteen, taking a journey across the Midwest with her grandparents. The journey Sal is going on is to find her mother on her mother's birthday. Traveling with her grandma and grandpa, Sal tells stories about the year before and her adventures with her friend Phoebe. Sal and Phoebe suspected Phoebe's mother being kidnapped, Sal's father getting remarried, and a potential "stalker". Sal, Gramps, and Grams run across many road blocks along the way, making Sal a basket case because she is worried about making the deadline. In the end, things even out and evolve. We would recommend this book to readers of nine years of age to readers of eleven years of age. It will keep the avid readers glued to the book. While we thought it was a good book, it was not age appropriate for our reading level.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: This is definitly a great book for all. I must admit in the beggining I had doubts but loved the book. It is very well writen and is a little of everything. It has mystery, comedy, suprizes and twists nobody can expect. The truth is obivious but it is so well writen that you blindly don't see it and is a great book for anyone ages 10-adult.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons: my opinion Review: Personaly I found Walk Two Moons a boring book and thought it was very tedious to read. There seemed to be many things in the book that were just chatter and distracted the reader from the main points. Reading Walk Two Moons did not seem like a learning experience because i understod little of it and the parts that I did understand were somewhat pointless and all very strange. I canot relate to this book because I simply cannot find myself in that situation or any similar one. My lifestyle is very different from the ones of the characters in this book so I have trouble understanding it and especially cannot relate to this book.
Rating: Summary: Walk Two Moons Review: Hi! I am Pheobe Winterbottom! I am Salamanca's best friend! This book was a sad, funny, and touching book all at the same time! It was a sad book because Salamanca goes on a long journey to find her mother and instead finds out that she is dead! The book was funny because her grandparents were very humorous people and loved to tell hysterical stories! Finally, this book was very touching because although Salamanca knew she would never see her mother again, she believed that her mother's spirit would always be with her. These are reasons why I liked this book. Something I learned in this book is to cherish every day as if it was your last because you never know what can happen.
