Rating: Summary: Walk Too Many Good Things Review: This book is amazing. It has intriging details to catch anyones eye, each second gets better and better. It starts out with stories all over the place, but it all comes together in the end. I loved this book and so will you.I highly recommend this.
Rating: Summary: Will You Walk Two Moons? Review: This book was a sad, happy, fun and enjoyable book. It gave me the feeling that I was right there with Sal and Pheobe, the main characters. It taught me about having to get to know a person, before talking about them, before I really knew them. This book shows how fun life can be, not just with your parents, but with your grandparents on a road trip. I enjoyed it and it will be a good investment for a child or an adult.
Rating: Summary: Disapearing Mothers Review: The first time I read this book I was in third grade. I did not understand the meaning that well. When I read it this year in the seventh grade, there seems to have a much stronger point(a very good one might I add.) Sal, a thirteen year old girl has to cope with the disapearence of her mother. When she starts a story of her friend, she finds more then just Pheobe's story, she finds her own.
Rating: Summary: My Moccassins Review: This year in English Class we read the book Walk Two Moons, as well as several other well chosen books. About half of my class had read the book four years ago, but we read the book, we didnt READ the book. In this book, Sharon Creech illustrates something that we are unable to comprehend; a story under a story, under a story. All of Sal's expiriences are those equivelent to another adolescant's, though not all adolescents uncovered all the many layers of this novel. I recomend this book, even for children because everytime you read this book, part of the barrier of understanding is chipped away.
Rating: Summary: "Don't Judge a Man Until You've Walked in his shoes." Review: "Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins."This is one of the most exhilerating books I have ever read. This is the perfect family book. This book teaches morals, while still keeping you interested. I rated this book with 5 stars because it has excellent morals, entertainment and the book ends in a perfect circle. This book is about a young girl named Salamanca Treehiddle growing up with her father and searching for her mother. If you've ever known what it feels like when you've lost some thing that you've had your whole life, you can relate to Sal Treehiddle. All Sal's life she's taken advantage of the fact that she has a mother until one day she doesn't haveher any more. Now it is a race for time and Sal has to find her mother! This is an excellent book and I highly, highly recomend it.
Rating: Summary: "Never Judge a Man Until You've Walked In His Maccasins" Review: This is a great book to read with your family. It teaches you about life, and to never take anything for granted. It is about a girl named Sal who is putting her imagination to the limit. She meets a nosy friend, Pheobe, who has just as many problems. This is a book of drama, romance, comedy, and an unforgetable adventure. I highly recomend this book to people who love a real suspensful novel.
Rating: Summary: Stellar Book**** Review: We like this book because it had many hidden meanings. We have read it four times because we loved it so much and you get more out of it every time. A true masterpiece of writing. You will go on a journey of suspence, romance, sadness, joy, and comedy, with Salamenca Tree Hiddle and the gang.
Rating: Summary: A Wild Ride Review: This is a very intense and exciting book that is full of drama. This book brings your thoughts to new levels of imagination. First you meet Sal, the main character of the book. Her thoughts and life take you on a wild ride. Learn how she gets through the tough times by making friends, sharing secrets, and over all, learning from her mistakes.
Rating: Summary: Sal's Adventures Review: When I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It is about a girl,Sal who moves from Kentucky to Ohio. When Sal arrives she meets Pheobe. Through Pheobes wild imagination Sal has many adventures including meeting a potential lunatic and learning that Pheobes neighbor might have murdered her husband. Sal can relate to Pheobe because both of their mothers disapear. Towards the end of this book though it gets very sad and I thought that it took away from the book. Although some people like dramatic books like Walk Two Moons.
Rating: Summary: Walking Two Moons Review: I thought that this book had a really great storyline. It had a lot of really breathtaking parts where you weren't sure of what would happen next. It's good for all kinds of readers, because it includes lots of funny, sad and joyful parts. It takes readers on a wild rollercoaster that turns you up and down, back and forth, and around the corner, until you reach the end and everything comes together.
