Summary: WONDERFUL MOONS
Review: As soon as i started to read this book i couldn't put it down. All I wanted to do was read, read, read! I have never really read a book where i admediatly got hooked. I loved the great description and the main characters almost sound real. It almost made you wonder if this book was real. I loved how the author seemed like she spent years devoloping just one chapter. I would recomend this book to young adults and even adults! This is a book that everyone should read!

Summary: A beautiful tale
Review: I am the mother of a six-grade son who has read several books with him this year for school projects. This is a beautifully written book. It makes you laugh (hard) and cry (hard). It makes you turn the pages quickly to see what will happen next. Sal crosses America with her grandparents to find her mother. On the way, Sal tells the very amusing story of her friend, Phoebe, whose "perfect" but sad mother is kidnapped by forces beyond her control. It is hard for me to express what I felt at the end of the book. Even at my advanced age :-), I did not see foresee the ending, caught up in the same delusions as Sal, or, maybe, just experiencing the moment directly through her story-telling. A very eloquent finish; this book should receive more than 5 stars.

Summary: A really great and Different book
Review: The book Walk Two Moons is a great book. It has all sorts of mini-stories behind the main story (Salamanca's story). If you read it, you will want to see what will happen next. The way the author wrote and described how each character acted was interesting and exciting. My favorite part was when Salamanca drove her grandfather's car up the mountain in the dark to Lewiston. You'll have to read the book to find out what happened next. Though the book is very sad,the author doesn't reveal the major tragedy until the end. Don't pass up this oportunity to read Walk Two Moons with paranoid Phoebe, romantice Ben and confused Salamanca.

Summary: THIS BOOKCHICK LOVED IT
Review: AS A READING TEACHER, I READ HUNDREDS OF ADOLESCENT NOVELS. THIS ONE IS INCREDIBLE! I'M AN EXCELLENT PREDICTOR AND AM RARELY SURPRISED, BUT I LITERALLY GASPED AT ONE POINT IN THIS BOOK. YOU CAN ASK THE KIDS IN MY 3RD PERIOD CLASS. ALSO, SHARON CREECH IS SUCH A GOOD WRITER THAT SHE MADE ME LAUGH AND MADE ME CRY WITH A SINGLE PARAGRAPH IN THE BOOK. IT'S A WONDERFUL STORY OF A YOUNG GIRL, TREE, WHOSE MOM LEAVES. SHE WANTS TO GO FIND HER MOM TO BRING HER BACK, SO HER GRANDPARENTS TAKE HER ON A CROSS COUNTRY TRIP TO SEE HER MOM. THERE ARE ACTUALLY THREE STORIES GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME: THE STORY OF TREE, THE STORY OF HER GRANDPARENTS, AND THE STORY OF TREE'S BEST FRIEND, PHOEBE. YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Summary: there couldn't possibly be a better book
Review: No one will ever make a book that comes close in goodness to this novel. It's so emotional. I laughed out loud, and I bawled at the end when... well, you'll see. I love this book! I LOVE IT!! It's well written and great for ages 8-. I read it six times since third grade. It's won numerous awards, but it's not one of those books that has "lovely language" and adults think kids will like it but its boring. this is anything but boring! I read it in like two days! IT'S SO GOOD! YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY PURCHASE IT, FOR YOUR OWN LITERARY GOOD WILL!

Review: This is a story within a story. Thirteen year old Salamance Tree Hiddle is traveling cross country with her grandparents. Along the way she tells them about a friend whose mother left. Sal learns a lot about her grandparents and herself on this trip to find out why her own mother left.

A wonderful, moving story.
