Summary: INCREDIBLE STORYLINE !
Review: If you're waiting for the next Harry Potter book and think nothing else can quench your taste for adventure and suspense, think again because you won't be able to keep your eyes off this one. This book is about a team of orphans who have just escaped the terrible treatment of their guardian Count Olaf (a greedy man who hopes to gain money from the orphans). They head for a street by the name of Lousy Lane where they meet their new guardian Uncle Monty. Here they have one of the most wonderful times of their lives until by a twist of fate they come face to face with an old nemisis who seeks revenge and some money. I recommend this book because each character has a complex personality and because this book keeps you asking ''How are they going to get out of this one''. I think this book is great for readers of all ages.

Summary: Couldn't stop reading!
Review: I thought the Reptile Room was great! I couldn't put it down! I've read 6 of his books and I'm getting the 7th one. They really great because each plot is different and there's just so many things to think about in his books you can never get bored with them. All his characters are original and have there own personalities which makes the characters very life like. Also you can relate to the Baudelaires because their personalites are human and not just made up. I think you should read this book!

Summary: The plot thickens....
Review: Violet, Klaus, and Sunny have just experienced a narrow escape with their dasterdly, witty, greedy uncle, Count Olaf. They are then sent to live with their Uncle Monty, a reptile scientist. Things seem to be looking up for the orphans, they have their own rooms, they get to help out in the reptile room with the Incredibly Deadly Viper, and they are going to Peru! But then Monty's new assistant Stephano comes along and even though he's in disguise, his shiny eyes give him away. Complete with a murder, venom, car crash, and an arguement over seating arrangments, this one is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. LOVE IT!!!

Summary: The Wonderful Bad Book!
Review: I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down because every page was so exciting. I never knew what would happen next! The book was also funny. I liked Lousy Lane, Sunny's teeth, and the funny examples! When I read this book I learned what a lot of words meant, like brummagem and oblivious.

I would recomend this book to everyone, unless you only like happily ever after stories! I think all ages can enjoy this book. My mom read it and loved it, and so did I!

Summary: Disappointed
Review: "A Series of Unfortunate Events" was supposed to be the heir to 'Harry Potter', but I was sorely disappointed. It is written so dumbed-down that I could practically feel my I.Q. dropping by the second. As you might have guessed, I did not enjoy this book at all. The writing is disjointed and the constant interuptions by the narrator are annoying and break up the flow of the story. Also, whenever a word appears that is above two syllables the author insists on defining it, as though today's children are much too stupid to be able to figure it out for themselves. The story is not bad, but the mode of delivery is tiresome and annoying.

Summary: How Lemony Snicket writes!
Review: I really coment Lemony Snicket on how he writes. He is telling you the story how it happened and then throws in a couple of meaningful sentences about his beloved Beatrice and his life. It's like having your grandfather telling you about the days he was a kid and I really like that.
