Rating: Summary: Boot Camp For Your Brain Review: This is a terrific book to help you improve your score on the SAT. My total score increased by 140 points. The top 100 words section improved my vocabulary because many of these words were on the SAT. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone taking the SAT.
Rating: Summary: "Boot Camp for your Brain- A No Nonsense Guide to the SAT" Review: I urge anyone who is preparing for the PSAT or SAT, to read "Boot Camp". I found this book extremely helpful in reviewing math and vocabulary. I was able to raise my combined score over 200 points! I particularly enjoyed the Vocabu-toons because they allowed me to visualize words instead of simply memorizing them.

It's a much better read than a lot of the other SAT books; it's concise and even funny at times. It got me scores the scores I needed and it will for you, too. Very comprehensive & complete explanations of the content we can expect in the SAT I, and also the step by step explanations provide for how to solve the questions in the SAT I math sections. Rating: Summary: 12 Grades of what you should know, condensed into 1 book. Review: This book was extremely helpful to me in my quest to up my score on the SAT. It's the kind of book that has literally everything you need for a 1600, and where what you get out of it will depend on what you put into it. I've also seen/used many other SAT review books and I found Bootcamp to be much more succinct and efficient than the others. I also liked all the advice in the book, it was very helpful and had a good effect on my studying (not only for the SAT). In short, this book is the best way to go.

By studying this book daily along with taking practice tests, you will significantly improve your score. Rating: Summary: Best Boot Camp for my son! Better than the Marines. Review: Boot Camp is an effective, well organized, often humorous, approach to boosting SAT scores. My son's scores jumped 180 points, making him more competitive among the colleges he is considering. I highly recommend this relatively painless method of raising test scores.

I recently took the SATs after reading Boot Camp, and my score increased by 290 points. Rating: Summary: The World's Best SAT Test Prep Review: In the competitive world of college admissions, it seems like the hurdles for college acceptance is getting higher and higher. In order to improve our daughter's chance of acceptance, she read Marcie Manning's, Boot Camp for Your Brain. This book provided her with the focus necessary to improve her SAT scores by 260 points for a total of 1490. In addition, she scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of the SAT test.
