Summary: Great Parent, Teacher and Student resource
Review: As a middle school math teacher, I frequently have parents tell me, "It has been so long since I took math, I just need a resource to help remember how to do these things". (ie fractions) I tell them to order this book. The examples are clear and well illustrated. The book is colorful and engaging. Our school has bought class sets of this book and we are going to organize a bulk order of books for parents. I think the topics covered would help students in grades 3-10.

Summary: A wonderful resource!!!
Review: As a sixth grade math teacher, this is the first book I recommend to my students. MATH ON CALL shows step by step processes for every operation and explains complex ideas, such as division by fractions and multiplication with decimals, in a conceptual manner. This book is a must-have for every student, ages 8-18!

Summary: Great Book! Helped a lot!
Review: I am a 7th grade math student. This is a wonderful book to have around the house whenever you don't understand something on homework and need serious help with it. This book shows you in words how to do the problem and then gives you several examples. As I said before, this is a wonderful book to have around the house for help with homework. I recomend it to any junior high math students. By the way, this is not a book for not very smart children who need extra help. I am actually a 6th grade student in a 7th grade math class, and still, this book helps my a tremendous amount.

Summary: The most valuable math resource a student can have!
Review: I have recently begun my student teaching at a local middle school. I came across this book, and I have used it repeatedly over the past few weeks. In fact, the school is going to encourage all 6th graders to purchase this book next year. This way, they will have the book as a valuable math resource for the remainder of their middle school career and beyond. A great tool for students and teachers alike!

Summary: When ever you need math its just a Call away!
Review: Math on Call is a great handbook for students or even adults having trouble in specific areas of Mathematics. The book is split up into sections, subsections, and types of the shown subsection. Rather than looking all over the place, you can find something simply by looking for what section it is in then looking in that section to find the subsection and so on. The best part is that the book does not put in a bunch of confusing mathematics terms but instead gives clear and fast examples. It also shows more than one method of solving the type of problem so you can find what method is best for you. This book is worth every penny and is vital to success in mathematics. Take it from me, I struggled in math until I found this.

Summary: Math On Call - An Invaluable Tool
Review: My child's middle school made this book available a couple of years ago. It has proven to be an invaluable resource for middle school and high school math. It provides examples and explanations for almost any middle/high school math problem. It contains more-easily-understood examples than the text books. It's been an invaluable tool for me as a parent.
