Summary: Abhorsen in all the Mysteries it holds
Review: This is a book that you can not put down from the start. There is the Mystery that was in Liael in this book too. The world is in more danger every second. They have a great evil from the beginning of time that must be defeated. A friend to save. They think they lost Mogget. How will they ever get to the red lake in time to stop it if there is an army of die waiting on the doorstep of the Abhorsen house. Sam is weird about the whole aunt thing. Lirael has to decide one of the most important thing will it be the right one.Is there a way to save this world. can Sam and Lirael do it a lone. It is hard to read a book if it has a slow begianing but this one is not one. you get to know the characters in this book much better. There are twist and turns every minute. This book is good for all fantasy readers.

Summary: Abhorsen Trilogy
Review: I managed to finish this book in a day, but the relative quickness of the read was only because I can't put it down! In this, the third book of the trilogy, Nix finally takes us all the way into death... it's an amazing book full of graphic details and nuances... read it! you'll love it!

Summary: Not what I had anticipated...
Review: Sabriel and Lirael are two books that I will never forget - for all it's intricacy and brilliance. After reading an amazing first and second book, I had expected Abhorsen to be more complex and intensifying than the first two books. I was slightly disappointed at what was meant to be a grand finale. I would like to think that my expectations of Abhorsen were far too high, but Sabriel and Lirael were much more complex in terms of storyline. I guess one thing that could be improved would be more Dead 'species'. It does get a bit repetitive with similar Dead creatures appearing in every chapter - if not the appearance of Gore Crows, it would be Dead Hands or Shadow Hands. One of the high points of this book's storyline for me was the revelation of who Mogget and the Disreputable Dog really were. The defeat of Orannis is, of course, interesting. Although I would have liked Abhorsen to be more electrifying and convincing, I still will recommend this series to intermediate readers for all its great writing. To end on a higher note, this trilogy is definitely NOT to be missed, mainly due to its great fantasy ideas and plotline. I congratulate Garth Nix for this fantastic fantasy series.

Summary: A great ending
Review: I highly recommend you to read Abhorsen if you have read Sabriel and Lirael. Though the ending is somewhat cliche, it was still great. I was anxious that Garth Nix couldn't pull off a fitting ending. But I was completely satisified. If you like the first two, this book is for you.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not half as compelling as Sabriel
Review: To be honest, I was real disappointed with this book. I know it took a lot of work and all, but Sabriel's originality and mature theme is unmatched. It didn't have me hooked like Sabriel did. A lot of people have said that Nix has dumbed down the writing... and in all honestly I agree. Sabriel is a fantastic book though, and so is Shade's children. This book had a lot of potential, and although it had its unique qualities it didn't really move me. Check it out anyway and see for yourself.

ABBOHRSEN IS A STUNNING CLIMAX TO THIS POWERFUL TRILOGY. I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT YOU MUST READ LIRAEL BEFORE THIS, THERE IS NO INTRODUCTION!! THIS BOOK FOLLOWS THE STORY OF HEDGTE THE NEOCROMANCER AND HIS LIGHTING FARM. LIRAEL AND SAM CONTINUE THERE QUEST TO RESCUE THE DIM-WITTED NICK WHO REFUSES TO BELIVE IN THE MAGIC OF THE OLD KINGDOM. THIS BOOK HAS MANY UNEXPECTED TWISTS AND A FANTASTIC ENDING. AND THE MYSTRY OF THE DISREPUTABLE DOG IS REVELED...READ IT!!!

Summary: ABHORSEN-GARTH NIX
Review: Lirael, part of the race of the Clayr, a magical clan of seers, was sent on a journey by her elders: She must defeat the evil necromancer that plans to unearth an evil metal sphere; destined to destroy the world!

Once again, another exciting read from Garth Nix! But only read this if you have read "Sabriel" and "Abhorsen".

Summary: ABHORSEN-GARTH NIX
Review: This is the continuing story of Lirael, who must destroy the evil necromancer that is bringing an evil to this world we have never seen!

Great! The plot and dialogue made an excellent mix! The prequels are "Sabriel" and "Lirael".

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Okay, but hardly up to the level of Sabriel or Lirael
Review: I kinda liked some of the writing, but I really felt that there was just a tiny bit of plot for a long book. As a friend and fellow Garth Nix lover said, "I feel like all of Abhorsen could have been put into two chapters at the end of Lirael." I would have to agree with that. I mean, the characters got worse, if anything, the ending was boring and predictable, and the villian seemed nonexistant, so unreal was he. The only good thing about this book was how it delved deeper into Death. That was interesting, and made the difference between one star and two. Trust me on this: don't waste your money on this book. It's really not worth it
