Summary: Not bad.
Review: i think it was a cool new way to write a book. Sometimes it felt like the book was just as shallow as the gossip. However, it was definitly worth reading. Maybe not worth buying.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Guilty Pleasure
Review: Have you ever wondered what the lives of the so called chosen ones were like? Now you know. It's all about sex, lies, and video tape. Not really it's more like sex, alchohaul, drugs, and gossip gossip gossip. Which when you think about it makes it very relateable to any teenager not liveing in a hole and fun too.

Summary: It's just too short....
Review: This book is really good, and I loved the format. My only problem with it is that it covers a very short time span; a few weeks, I think. The second book goes by too fast too, but the characters are a lot of fun to read about!

Summary: Juicy gossip never hurts, unless it's about you.
Review: This book is what every teen girl needs, what girl isn't interested in some juicy gossip.

This book is about a girl named Blair. On the outside she seems to have the perfect life. She has a cute boyfriend, she's rich, lives in a penthouse in Manhattan. That's just the outside.

Really she's an emotional wreck. Two years ago her boyfriend slept with her former best friend, her parent's are divorced because her dad is gay. She has a bad habit of throwing up and her mom is dating a loser. It seems bad until her former best friend, Serena, comes back, tossing her already messed up life into a whirlwind.

I definitely recommend this book if you like gossip. It's basically a soap opera in a book!

Summary: GG is a guilty pleasure
Review: Gossip Girl is fun, easy, and quick---three adjectives that also happen to describe the novel's main characters, as well! It chronicles the lives of hoity-toity, rich high-schoolers who live in New York City and are faced with such traumas as, "Whatever shall I wear to the benefit tonight?"
...Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration. In reality, the teens do have serious issues they're faced with. It's just that the conflicts aren't so terrible it prevents them from taking a fun shopping trip to Barneys.
Anywho, this book's a great choice if you want a little "fluff" that doesn't require a lot of mind-power. But try to overlook the author's attempt at naming every NYC street and landmark in order to make the setting more realistic. It gets old after awhile.

Summary: A Guilty Pleasure
Review: They all live and play in The Upper East Side of New York City in the penthouse apartments. They go to fabulous party after party. They all have tons of money, and designer clothes. They either attend Manhatthans elite Spenford School for Girls or St. Albans for Boys. They drink hard liquor all the time and get high. ...

Blair thought that she had the perfect lives. Well, pretty close anyway, since her dad ran off to France with another man, and her mother is marrying her hideous boyfriend. And just when her and her druggie hottie boyfriend Nate were about to hit a home-run, Serena, the girl every girl wanted to be, and every guy wanted, the girl who seemed to be perfect in everyway, the girl that was "gifted with the kind of coolness that you can't acquire by buying the right handbag or the right pair of jeans", and Blairs so-called best friend, and rival just got kicked out of her boarding school, and just back in town. And according to the rumor mill, she did some pretty dirty things to get kicked out...

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: This book took me 3 nights to read! I'd start at around 10 and kept going untill 2 in the morning every time.
I was always so intrigued by the lives of the characters, and what they could get away with. The freedom they are given presents so many opportunities for nasty fun! Although some may find it just another story of crazy stuck up teenagers...well what can I tell you? It is!
However, if you are a big fan of racy teen fun, and want to see how it is layed down for a bunch of stereotypical partying teens this is definitely for you!
I'd like to point out my favorite parts, but really it's more fun to just find them out for yourself!

Summary: one of the best books I've read in a while
Review: This book explored so many subjects, including love, sex, popularity, and so many more. I couldn't put it down; I literally read it in 1 day. This book is so different because it's not like others I've read. It's entertaining because there are so many unanswered questions. Will S and N hook up again? Will B and N break up? Will D express his love to S? If you're looking for something to occupy a free Friday or Saturday night,Cecily von Ziegesar's Gossip Girl is a winner.
