Summary: gossipgirl is a good book!
Review: this book was good, because unlike many other novels, it lets you decide which characters you want to prevail. the author does not set the story in black or white. also, i did not put this book down until i finished it. it is a nice, long, read and makes you think that maybe living with everything you want isn't as good as it seems. DEFINITELY worth reading!

Summary: Gossip Girl Has Become One Of My Favorite Books
Review: I am sorry, I know this will not be a helpful review but I absolutely loved this book! I just had to let people know how great it was. It's a new look at this part of society. I, a high school student can relate and also me being a private schooler I can understand. But the characters are so funny, real, and perfect for the book. This book is a must read. I love the characters, the settings and just the fun nature of the book. It can be funny or serious. Read it if you want to read a great book. Trust me it was awesome!

Summary: Not Another Teen Book
Review: This book is like no other. It actually portrays teens the way they truly are. At least the way that I see it. It's a bunch of spoiled, back-stabbing kids, who are obsessed with sex and their looks. Not anything important.

Personally I think that Cecily von Ziegasar should be rewarded for describing her characters the way real life teens are.

Summary: Fun afternoon read.
Review: Picked up the book solely based on the cover and blurb on the back. It is a wickedly fun look at the life of high society teens with nothing to do but backstab. They also party a lot and work hard at being rich.

Blair is consumed with jealousy when her former best friend, Selena, comes back into town. Knowing that she will no longer be queen bee, she instigates vicious rumors about Selena, which take on a life of their own.

The story is infused with humorous web postings from GG (Gossip Girl) dishing on everyone. The characters are ... enough but GG's take on the situation is great. I would have liked the story to end differently though.

Summary: Ex-celll-ent!
Review: Well, this book was not what I thought it would be. However, it was wonderful! I am REALLLY hoping there is a sequel, which I think there is, "You Know You Love Me", but, I don't know what it is about? Also, I recommend this book, cause I liked it a lot.

Summary: Still Missing It.
Review: This book was brilliant! I love the way Von Ziegesar writes the way people speak. Telling about not only the story line but how all the people in the novel were feeling. It was definitely a page turner, I felt like I was best friends with this people. Although in real life I never would be. She explained everything so perfectly that once the book was over I was wishing for the book to keep going. I hope she writes a sequel! I loved this book!

Summary: Perfect
Review: The book was perfect. i was brought right into this world of characters. i read the book in two days and cannot stop thinking about it. it is exactly what high school is. growing up in an upper class neighboorhood and having been exposed to the same kind of pressures and concerns such as wanting to be excepted by the "beautiful people", i understand the feelings in the book. many a day i have wished to live the lives discribed here. oh what a great book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Halarious and captivating
Review: I found this book thouroughly enjoyble and would definatly reccomend it to anyone looking to hear about realistic people with bigger problems than themselves. I felt like I knew these people and by the end of the book I was wishing for a sequal.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Woah
Review: I just finished this book with many nagging questions such as who is gossip girl? What is with the last few sentances of this book were questions. Not saying it wasn't a good book. But the focus was to much on sex and alchohol. I'm sorry but that is not the way I live my life. but all in all it wasn't bad but it wasn't something to call home about.
